Congratulations, and welcome to Canada! We've been blessed with a mild winter so far, but it will take some getting use to. How long did the process take for you since you submitted the application?
Thank you! It took me a lil over 9 months

Hello Forum Peeps,

My hubby had his interview this afternoon and was given the visa on spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am over joyed! We submitted our application August 25, 2016. Interview questions included:
1. How did you meet your wife?
2. Who proposed and when?
3. What do you know about Canada?
4. Where does your wife work and what does she do?
5. How old is your wife

This forum provided an immense amount of support. Good luck to the remaining applicants. Please prep and prepare for the interviews and you will do fine.

Hi everyone,

My hubby had his interview this am and left with visa and landing papers! We applied Aug 25, 2016 as well. Whole process was 5 1/2 months. Can't believe it's actually over!

He only got asked about how often we travel to see each other and if my hubby still works at the same job. He was a white guy in his 30s, really nice hubby said. The ball is rolling and picking up momentum!

Good luck to everyone, have faith!

Congrats everyone gettin visa. We are still waiting for the visa office to call. We are hoping they call by the end of this week or next week for husband to pick up visa. We know the kids medicals were sent on monday. I am hoping they call before the 22nd when I am due to fly home. It is very hot and dry right now where I am in Jamaica but enjoying it.

We have some questions any help would be appreciated. My husband and I have decided to bring both his children to Canada when he arrives. Is it a shorter process for the children? Will we have to redo the medicals as they were just done? What are the fees that need to be paid for both children? Do we need proof again of our relationship with the children? Can I sponsor the children like i sponsor my husband or does my husband have to sponsor them.
