Hi everyone,
I mailed my spousal sponsorship application on January 30, 2017 and their mail room received it 8:27am the 31st. Does anyone know the turn around time to hear back from them? Will it be by snail mail or email?

This darn application keeping me up at night...lol..

It took a little over 2 weeks after it was received before I heard from them. They sent an email with attached letter informing me that I was approved as sponsor and gave the date the application processing began. Now we wait

Anyone here interested in joining a whatsapp group? This group would be soley for our application processing, updates, help, etc. Especially those that applied with the new application. :

Is it just for Jamaica sponsorship or all of Canada? I'm worried about being overflowed with whatsapp messages that isnt relevant to the Jamaican situation.

I'll be for Canadians and or permanent residents sponsoring their spouse/partner that lives in Jamaica. Canadian consulate in Kingston Jamaica is the office that deals with the applicant section for permanent resident in sponsorship application.

So it'll only be for our partner that we're sponsoring that's in JAMAICA

1. Text “ENROLL” to 613-209-4020
You will receive a text response from a third-party service provider (Ulula) with a link to a PDF barcode form.
2. Print the barcode form
Click on the link texted to you to get the PDF barcode form. Print it and include it in your family class sponsorship package after the checklist.
3.Mail your completed family class sponsorship package
Make sure you include all supporting documents and the barcode form.
You will receive a text message confirmation when our mailroom gets your family class sponsorship package.

There is a visa office located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It's also responsible for Canadian applications for other countries including: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, French Guyana, Guadeloupe, Marie-Galante, Martinique, Saba, St. Barthelémy, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten, St. Martin

Mailroom received mine the week before (Jan 23) - can so relate to the sleepless nights! I keep imaging it being sent back or lost. Im under the impression its about 2 weeks or more. There's another thread I've been following on her for Outbound Jan Applicants- many haven't heard anything yet either...
