How long did you have to wait from time you submitted the app to when you received the email? My app was received almost 2 weeks ago, but haven't heard anything yet... just curious how long others have had to wait who recently submittedJam-Newf said:

I used the old application, and there was a list of CIC approved docs, so assume that would remain the same with the new applications. If I remember correctly, they were located in Montego Bay and Kingston. But, I also assume they'll provide you with a list of choices when they send you the request.

Now that we've submitted the application (it was received today at the Mississauga office), if we decide to do the medical now, would we still have to wait until they request it for us to submit it?adt83 said:No harm in doing it upfront IMO.
Though we used the old application, the medical was submitted electronically to CIC by the doctors office. We also received a print-out confirmation we received at the doctors office that had to be included with our application package. I'm not sure how it works with the new applications. I don't see that there would be any harm in going for the medical and having the print-out confirmation ready for when you are asked for it.ayomas said:
