Help please... what does the due date on the notes mean, is that the day they have to have a decision made by or, when a decision has to be made AND passport all said and done, dealt with? Please advise.

I find that they mean nothing because my due date on my notes was August and see me here still

[you application has been pending for a pretty long time without updates. You may want to contact them by email or web form. What is your notes saying/ Security's? criminality? Medical? Some due dates are the date cic expects to get a response from external agency. While one of the due date is when the assigned officer is expected to review the case again. Did they request some information and not get a response?]

My husband had his interview October 10, and were "waiting for a decision " getting really frustrated. We have a child together and I'm going back to work soon and would like my husband here! We have been waiting since September 2, 2015. All that was requested at interview was his passport, which they still have.

Hope u hear something soon. I wouldn't pay to much attention to the due date they can change whenever.

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here since my husband came. I just applied for my stepdaughter and I would like to know what the timing looks like. Have you guys been waiting long. The immigration web page has changed since then.
Online it says 13 months but I think they are speeding up and we are seeing 9 months for spouses right now.

Does anyone's spouse have their visitor visa for Canada? I noticed that KVO processing time for visa is really short, like a week. I think its because they do it online. Anyone knows If having a Canadian visa helps the sponsorship process go faster?

[yes. Spouses do get visitor visa. Processing time in KVO is approximately 50 days. If the spouse is already in canada and need an extention, it can be done online, which is normally one week. They may be granted a Visitor Record valid 1 week to1 year. VR does not allow reentry. ]

My spouse has a Canadian Visa. It does not help for faster processing. All they use it to look at, is if your spouse has visited you in Canada during your relationship and how much many times.

Wow!! that's good. She's already in the system from when I sponsored my husband so I hope it's sooner. We just received the confirmation letter today. Thanks for the info.
