We went and got our SIN numbers today both for me and the little one. We also went and got registered for school and have to set up an appointment for her to be tested for placement. Other than that we have been working on the house and just lazing about, driving around and getting used to the city.

KC: Congrats on the little girl. She will definitely keep you young and you two can do all sorts of girly fun stuff together. I wish we had thought of meeting up with you and MAPLE at the airport. I would have loved that. we sat there for more than an hour and a half.

SICK: COngrats on the PP request. You will definitely be home for Christmas.

Missing: Its finally over for you girl. Hope you and hubby have a wonderful life together.

Canuck: My friend counting down the days must be fun this time cause you know its the final one. Cow town is -10 today and Im told this is "nice" weather. I cant even imagine it being any colder. And I see the Native Indians walking around in freaking T-shirts and shorts and I just stare at them in amazement. What the heck are their bodies made of? I want some.

LCW: Yes mi land gal. Finally!!!! Can relax and be happy now.

Jammy, mi amigo, I am counting down the days, gotta bring down a couple extra suitcases with me, told the Mrs we'll likely be back before she'll need 37 pairs of heels, 19 pairs of slippers and a couple dozen dresses that will be buried under 2 sweaters and 2 coats, but such is love. As far as the natives go, you'd be tough too if your whole family lived in a teepee year round for the last 2,000 years. Stick with the furnance and fireplace, allows you to explore a little more, and dress a little skimpier. Now this is a repeat but you will have a true understanding now. This is for all the lucky reunions that are coming up

Sick... Get there early (well before 1:30)... There's always line ups and they do stop letting people in after a certain time (which I'm not sure is a constant)...

drop of time between 1:30 but you have to be there to line up coz they only let people in between 1:30 till 2:30 but they open till 4:30 after 2:30 they don't let people in no more and its Tuesday and Thursday only. ask your wife to email you the itinerary and u can just print it i will fax my hubby itinerary tomorrow his coming this Wednesday.

Happy Friday everyone, it has been a good week for KG. Nae, a nice update for the board. The Mrs got a call from the embassy and was told to come and pick up her PP, complete with the Visa. Gonna get it on Tuesday.
So Jammy, Jan 1 for everyone in Calgary that is close, we'll bring the new year in with some old friends that have never met. Find us a spot near the deerfoot. I'm sure everyone would like a little stewed pork, rice and peas with a couple whole wheat dumplings. Some wray and nephews 100 proof. yep, sounds good.

Story of a Woman who just turned 47

When I was 16, I hoped that one day I would have a boyfriend.

When I was 18, I got a boyfriend, but there was no passion. So I decided I needed a passionate guy with a zest for life.

In college I dated a passionate guy, but he was too emotional. Everything was an emergency, he was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. So I decided I needed a guy with stability.

When I was 25, I found a very stable guy but he was boring. He was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided I needed a guy with some excitement.

When I was 28, I found an exciting guy, but I couldn't keep up with him.

He rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. He did mad, impetuous things and flirted with everyone he met. He made me miserable as often as happy. He was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. So I decided to find a guy with some ambition.

When I turned 31, I found a smart ambitious guy with his feet planted firmly on the ground and married him. He was so ambitious that he divorced me, took everything I owned, and ran off with my best friend.

I am now 47 and am looking for a guy with a big one.
