Yeah or he can add you as his representative so you have access to his file, mine would have been next week but I screw up lol but I guess with the delay I might get more information if stuff has been added to his file, what I'm really trying to find out is if interview will be waived

I would love to know that as well. I wonder if its too early to see if its been waived or not?

It might be the good thing is it's only $5 so it can be ordered again in a couple months lol

Heyy JamFam,

I haven't been around lately, just popping in to say Congrats to those who have hubbys and wifeys joining them recently or in the near future. I know it can be a long emotional process but it is sooo worth it in the end. Hubby and I are still adjusting to the changes and loving each moment we get to spend with one another. He is soo over joyed that he can be with me and has been so helpful with the home chores. He has cooked, cleaned and spent a lot of time adjusting with living permanently with me, vis versa. I am happy for those who have recently gotten PPRs and DM and keep the faith for those still waiting. From my knowledge and experience (for new comers and existing ones). A breakdown of the process:

1st step- Sponsorship approval
approx. 30-65 days
Day 30-40 you get AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt)
Day 40-65 you get SA (Sponsorship Approval)

2nd step- Permanent Resident
approx. 5-12 months after SA
5months into processing- Initial review (ask for pr fee and additional documents)
10-12MONTHS INTO PROCESSING- PPR :)
11-13MONTHS- PP GIVEN BACK :D
YEARS AND YEARS OF HAPPINESS AFTER THAT!! ;D ;D ;D

I don't remember if I attached it however I just looked at the form and it says that you should...

Assemble all your documents as listed. Check () each applicable item on the list and attach the list to your
documents (a paper clip will do)

Here is the link to the forms, I can't see 100% what exactly forms but the ones that say anything about spouse are out of the question, also don't forget she'll need written consent from the father as well I had a friend that did this a few years ago i'll see if i can get some information from her for you if you don't get it here, there might be other threads on here that already provides the info
