Hello all, I'm new to this. I was just wondering when is it best to get the medical done? Do you get asked for it or should it be done before handing in the application?

Hello and Welcome,

You can get it done and send it in with the application, before it expires you can request an extension or some peoples applications are finalized before it even expires.

Finger prints

Do they need finger prints done I've been seeing some people say they need them. I thought just a police record check was good enough?

Fingerprints are part of the police check

hey mrsmclaughlin! just wanted to bring to your attention that on the spread sheet it says my processing start date as 2016, but its 2015 hope you and your hubby are enjoying your time together finally!!! cant wait for my turn!!! havent heard a word from KVO, is that a good sign? we are 7 months into process now.... only hear from them when i send them additional photos and info and such.... take care!!!

I saw it right away even after sponsorship approval, but we did medical upfront. His is passed now, in our notes

My husband did his upfront as well and ECAS still hasn't updated that they've been received. That was 6 months ago.

Thanks you impatient wife.. just that link provided all the forms for spousal as well and with being 8 does the child need declaration on all..

Here is the link to the forms, I can't see 100% what exactly forms but the ones that say anything about spouse are out of the question, also don't forget she'll need written consent from the father as well I had a friend that did this a few years ago i'll see if i can get some information from her for you if you don't get it here, there might be other threads on here that already provides the info

I'm sure they have it, their system is weird and frustrating sometimes lol it still shows my part of the application as in process lol

Thanks for letting me know, it looks like there were a bunch of 2016's in there so I just corrected them Hubby has officially been here for one month today, and it's been amazing. He's already working and he's passed his written and road tests to convert his license so he's got his full G license now He's still in awe of the snow, we'll see how long that lasts for hahaha!

And other than the 2 or 3 times that me or hubby email KVO and got a generic response back, our application was transferred there in April and we didn't hear a word from them until PC/PPR in February like 10 months later. Not hearing anything is normal, they will only contact you when they need something lol
