Got an email from VO today and got all giddy thinking maybe it could have been PPR (wishing thinking Huh) lol they were only confirming that they've received the RPRF fee I only sent it in yesterday so I was planning to hear from them anytime soon,well at least I know what I'll actually feel like when we get Ppr lol they told me our file is queue to be reviewed guess my notes will tell me when exactly #CongratsSara

Thank you! My husband and step daughter arrived last night! I was tracking their flight online and they arrived 30 minutes early! I got to the airport about 5 mins after they landed. They came out about 50 mins after landing- it was much faster than I expected ( we are in winnipeg, not Toronto so I guess it's not as busy ).

My husband held my son right away and thankfully he didnt cry! He's in that phase where he only wants mom but hearing my husband's voice and seeing his pictures/video chat every day since being born must have helped!

My husband wanted coffee so picked him up his first Tim hortons and headed home. My mom and step dad drove his daughter and I drove with him and my son.

We hadn't had any snow until today so my husband had his first experience with it! It was cute watching him touch it. Being only zero degrees neither my husband or his daughter found it to be too cold which is great.
To top everything off my son slept in his crib for 3 hours instead of our bed so that was a pleasant surprise!

Anyway back to bed for me! My son thought 430 was a good time to wake up but I've finally gotten him
Back to sleep!

Yes that's when it was first filed/ received by Mississauga then transferred to VO on Jan 25th

Thanks, mine as well. I was reading your post about VO emailing you and I was getting all excited thinking November applicants applications are being looked at. I saw your dates and I wasn't sure if 11 was the month or day lol

Lol my bad, I don't even count down from the time I filed I countdown from when VO gets it lol it kinda keeps me sane that way lol and they only emailed me cause I sent them proof of payment for the landing fee and sneaked in a question I just wasn't expecting them to respond much less within 24 hours

Yeah i was surprised with that as well. I sent them additional information and a letter last week and they responded with a personalized email within 2 days. I was very pleased. Have you ordered your notes yet?

Yes but I ordered Physical file instead of electronic so it's gonna take longer

Does anyone know if its normal for it to still not show medical as received even though they were done upfront and sent with the application?

Only speaking from my expirience, I sent it in up front and it said right away that medical is received. So not sure? I would email and ask. Just to be safe. But I also wouldn't email until the perm residency part says in process, and the processing date as to when it started.

Mine does not show it either. But I assumed it was because ours are soon to expire and that when the new ones get sent in it will show up.
