Update Everyone, I finally got back a reply from Kingston office saying that i dont have to send the police record and the updated forms to them at all because they told me that CPC-Ottawa is the ones dealing with my application right now. So i should just ignore the email that i got from Kingston. I sent 2 email to Kingston office but one of the email i sent to the High Commissioner himself and he apologize for the inconvenience.... I search everywhere trying to find an email for the commissioner so i made up one and it work....lol...... Right now i have to say God is on my side looking out for me.

Commissioner email address for Kingston

sylvain.fabi@intenational.gc.ca

Sylvain Fabi
he is the new commissioner for Canadian embassy in Kingston Jamaica

FYI: if you use this email to write to him you will not get any confirmation email at all like you get when you send it to the regular email address

Hope he is cool, our last 2 commissionaires we great. I worked with them on the Ottawa 50th anniversary parties and dinners as well as the Jamaica days in Montreal and Ottawa for the last few years. They really go out of their way to help at their offices as well. Call them up anytime for info, they really do help and the Jamaica associations in your area.

Yeah I agree. It's nice to know that someone else has gone through what I'm just starting.

That kool MissReeva... i never had any problem emailing the commissioner but i dont put it on practice at all... I only do it when it something that need to be sorted out and kingston is taking a very long time to get back to me then i would slip them an email and they always get back to me within 2 day of my email

Hello,

The CIC office in Mississauga received my application to sponsor my husband on Nov 6th,2015, they approved my application and forwarded it to the Visa office in Kingston on Jan 20th, 2016 and started processing on Jan 25th, they’ve already received his medical which was done a couple months before the application was sent off and his clear police record which was sent off with the application. I know the next step is security checks etc, but what exactly do I have to look forward to inregards to time etc etc I would love to hear some experiences good or bad (preferably good lol ) I’m just a bit obsess with the whole process and missing my hubby.

Thanks Everyone

@ impatientwife... me and you have the same timeline. Did you submit the medical upfront with the application and if so how do you know they received it? Do you have a line saying we've reviewed the medical on ecas?

Based on what I've read the Jamaica office is slow. Mine was received Nov 13. Got confirmation on Jan 8. Sponsor approval Jan 18 and started working on it Jan 25. I have a feeling it's going to be a while before anything else. We sent eveything upfront.

yes i heard that as well, just hoping for the best we sent everything as well, they have almost a 1000 pages of whats app messages, pictures, fb posts, visits etc etc, i don't think there is much more they can ask for other than a possible interview which usually is when they suspect the relationship isn't genuine, i'm not really worried about that though, it's the timing that worries me

I didn't even know that it is possible to print what's app messages. When u say timing are you referring to how long they take to process of how long your relationship has been?
