Just think, if they had 250,000 applicants a year, thats $260 million dollars. Pretty sure that should help with more workers AND more resources. Thats per year. Id love that kind of revenue.

See I think as of this year and currently Kingston is finalizing peoples application at 7 months of it being there. It makes sense, since your application has been processing there since March 10th 2015. Again this is just a guess , but I think this is realistic and I am hopeful we will all be hearing something (interview/ppr) within 7 months of our app being there! Wish it was quicker of course, but lately it just seems that way. Best of luck to your hubby at this interview, hope everything goes smooth.

Shortyp, you'll be hearing something this month *Fingers crossed* ;)

Stay blessed everyone!

Thanks guys.. it was last wednesday night when I took shorty p's advise and wrote to the vo about the medical coming up one year and the police record. I also requested an address change for my husband in a second communication. Well today they emailed me a copy of the interview request sent to the new address ---and it is clear they understand my concerns and urgency-- would have loved the ppr but any moment is good and we have a solid marriage so I trust the interview will go well..and this is over soon... one month away ..give me time to pull the documents together..

Thanks Shortp.. I feel your advise gave me luck:) now I know hubby will shine in that interview - him shy still but love to talk about loving me lol... I am so looking forward to Nov 12-- as I know God will clear the way thereafter.. I think they requested the interview because I had cancel the papers the first time..

Even tho they get a police background check from u (and rcmp check if spouse has been in canada over 6 months), they still do their own security checks too

See its all in Gods hands, and when we give it to Him to sort out, it lifts a weight off of our shoulders.
Cant wait to hear new and exciting things tomorrow. Lets see what happens!

What if spouse has never left jamaica?

Then all you have to do is the Jamaican police check. CIC will do their own checks and see he hasnt been anywhere else and wont need to check with other countries police agencies. So that should help time wise.
