Has everyone else had their husband sign?? Mine didn't and we ordered over a week ago, does that mean it will come back to me for a signature?
Yes your hubby has to sign the consent paper or they wont release information on him or his file. You should contact them and ask how to send that in (maybe via email).

In the confirmation email there is a link to email additional information if needed so I will send it in! Thanks!! It's really too bad that it's needed considering its us sponsoring them you'd think that would be enough.

Exactly, like its our sponsorship file too, but it seems like they just want to make things harder on us every chance they get.

Excuse-me again, but this sounds like fuc kery...First of all, it is NOT TRUE that the more that u able to submit the better it is. Lonelydreadswife is RIGHT...the VO hates to receive a box of evidences, its more work for them. They like it simple and clear. I sent my 18 stamps of my trips in JA, I sent 20 pictures, some sheets of whatsapp convos (3 months only) + a letter explaining that we do not have any phone bills cause we use Skype. Thats ENOUGH.

2nd... I really doubt that you have received a letter mentionning ``all my documents and reviewed everything and nothing further is needed``. They will never take the risk to confirm that kind of information. Stop trying to take us like fools.

So I wont continue to argue with you about it, as you said we will see whats going on in a couple of months.

Can you give me your timeline so I will add you to the spreadsheet if you agree.

we never sent in any phone records.... sent in about 20 pics some western unions receipts... my flight receipts and thats it... it went very quickly... process was done in 11 months... i think the more u send the longer it takes them to go through everything

yes he has to sign the consent ...I know it makes it a bit more difficult especially if your husband has no access to a scanner and printer ..I had my husband print the form I emailed him and sign it then scan and email it back to me ..then I printed it and continued to fill it out then scanned again and sent online .. And I also had my husband file a notice of representation form that was included in our application giving me permission to act on his behalf and even with that form it still wasn't enough ... Now my husband isn't good with computers so of course he went downtown montego to have someone assist him with printing the form and then scanning it to email back to me ..this costed him $1500 JMD to get done but it was still cheaper than having him mail the form to me registered mail ... And also also faster then waiting for him to send you the form in the mail ...if your planning on going to visit him in the near future you could also bring the form with you and have him sign

luckily our loved ones will be fine :Tropical Storm Erika dissipated as a tropical cyclone Saturday morning near eastern Cuba.
All tropical storm watches and warnings have been dropped.
Torrential rain has been reported in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, with over 24 inches of rain in some spots.
Deadly, destructive flooding crippled parts of Dominica, in the Lesser Antilles, Thursday. Strong wind gusts were reported in St. Croix and St. Thomas, westward to the Dominican Republic.
Erika's remnant moisture may still lead to local flooding in parts of the Caribbean, Florida and the southeast U.S. in the days to come.........moving on the initial review is when they open your application and go through the documentation to make sure all is included in your husbands part of the application as CiC Mississauga just reviews the sponsors information and makes sure all your documentation is included ..waiting for the visa officers review is just a standard email they send to almost everyone who inquires ..I received that email from Kingston in Jan and they begun to process my application Feb 20/15 according to ECAS...and we relieved my hubsands PPR this week ...

Yeah, we had a little rain this morning and now its back to the heat again. (Im in Spanish Town). The tropical storm is gone now. I wanted it to rain all day but I guess uts not gona happen lol.
And yes, initial review is to see if you have all the documents they need to proceed with the application. :)

Wah gwan ppls, I'm back!! ;D :D ;D

Here is my "Landing Story". N e how, as u guys know my husband got approved on the 14th of last month. I went to JA last week and came back with my hubby and children on Wed. MAN OH MAN!!!! that was the BESTflight me eva tek in my life. I was so happy knowing my hubby was finally coming home. On his part, he said the flight took long but he loves Canada!! We landed around 7 and was directed to one of the IMMG Officers who assisted him with signing his doc. After that was finally over we collected our luggage and headed home. Today I went to Service Canada to have his SIN done. They also offer this service @ the airport but was closed at the time. It sucks that they no longer use the plastic cards and now have to use paper for the sin.

Important note: Make sure when u guys get back your PP with the Pr documents that u protect it with your LIFE. My husband papers got a little messed up and the IMMG OFFICER was asking him what happen to it lol.

N e how, thanks to everyone for all the love and support. To others that's waiting. Keep the FAITH!! your time is just around the corner. PLEASE!! don't waste any money on lawyers unless it's necessary , do that *censored word* yourself.I did it, SO CAN U!! They also have free services u can get help with filling out your app or if u have any questions pertaining to IMMG at" COSTI "for those living in Ontario.

God bless yall :)

CONGRATS BABE!!! :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;D
