As well, hw long did they tell u to submit ur documents? If they said example 60 days, that will be the next time they pick up ur file. They wait the whole time...

Wish everyone heres from them this week coming. Kingston dead bcuz they backlogged again.

Wait...R u saying they wait out the full 60 days before they look back at it???
My 60 days would just be up today....so I take it when they notice all the docs came in that they requested (minus the RMCP) which is just being digitized now, it means we gotta wait out another 60 days.....awwww man :-[ :'(
Sigh....what a wait.....Have to have my hubby visit or I do....more than drought this....

I Checked Ecas on the 10th(Friday) and it says "Decision made" hopefully hubby get back his passport this coming week so I can book his ticket. I'll be travelling back home next month, I just hope all goes well.

They didnt give a timeframe, they emailed:

Please submit to our office, copies of ”Live Statement of Birth” for your Canadian born children.
Documents can be submitted by email, mail or courier.

Just as I was all happy and thing..... just an email? I thought u guys were saying the responses u got from email was indicating the finalization is quite close at hand...Bummer. But guess what, It must be close at hand even so, as I really hope not and dont expect that this time next year all of us on the "current betting chart" will still be waiting...

Not necessarily they wait for the whole 60 days to open your file, I notice they reply to my file before the 60 days most times I guess it's just the officer that's handling the file

Your passport was requested In May? Damn that's long for them to have the passports for, I wonder why they take so long tho, they requested mine the 17 of June n receive it on the 22 n that same week they change my status to decision made, I don't know what these people up to am highly hoping for this week tho for some good news for all of us

The reason for the delay (we believe) was because they asked for my husband passport along with the "Schedule A/ background form". On that form , it asks for your work history, there was a gap on hubby form so that delayed our processing time. Also they were trying to contact my husband numerous times by phone and didn't get in touch with him so last month in June they finally got a hold of him and asked some brief questions and that was it.


To new applicants and others that are planning to sponsor, it's very"IMPORTANT " you don't forget or miss out anything because this will delay your application. I strongly feel my husband would've gotten his visa already. All when u can't remember certain info try fill out everything and make sure the person your sponsoring has his/her phone around at all times because u CAN'T call them back and you end up having to WAIT OVER again. :

morning everyone am still not able to log on to ecas and also I ask dhl to check embassy in pos to see if package is ready. they made a check and nothing today marks 21 days since they have me and my son book, you know what I give up on checking, hoping wondering about these people and when its gonna end.

my husband was venting the other night and his words were and I quote, "even when you get your passport am not happy till your here but even then its still gonna be one paycheck and the 3 of us in the one bedroom apartment" then he gonna say sorry for venting wrong timing, I say its what was on his mind he spits out, and those words hurts

like honestly I know he's mad frustrated about this process but he needs to think about the things he say before saying it am telling you that comment stings me and rub me the wrong way, I know what Canada Is like I was there before and I know its no bed of rose, and you have to work hard for what you want and it take 2 or more to make it work, and he knows that.

I was gonna say something to him about his comment but know what am tired of it all tired of the argument and just tired of everything, my spirit is so damp right now honestly I don't care anymore when ever it happen it happen, am just gonna stop checking and leave it alone
