So I am just venting my husbands papers are being process throught POS office he got a
letter on June 1 stating he is in the final stage of the application and he should send his passport and two
pics in so on Thursday June 4 my husband sent the documents throught fedex to trinidad and
tobago for some reason fedex delivered my husbands passport to someone in New Jersey the
person who recieved the package drop it off at a fedex drop off center which contacted my husband
saying his package was delivered to the wrong address, anyway the lady that called said fedex would
pick up the package and deliver it to the correct adress.
Fedex picked up the pacakage but brought it to their overgoods department somewhere in Tennesse me and my
husband spent all last week speaking with fedex representatives who could not locate the package
because it was in their wearhouse. Finally on friday I emailed a letter stating what had happened to the
president of fedex that was the only time they actually took action and found the package, which is missing my
husbands pictures so the package had to be sent back to jamaica on friday for my husband to retake the pictures then
send it to Trinidad. I had very nerve racking week dealing with fedex but I am grateful that my husbands
passport was found.. People on here shared their experiences with fedex and it was good dont know why
this happened to us. Just sharing my experience with fedex dont think I will ever used their services
again even though they will be giving my husband his money plus they offered to send it for free there and
back when he is ready to send it again.
Thats awful.....i would be soooo mad i would be all over the place ...

happy to hear that his passport was safe.. tht the most important thing...

personally im a dhl girl fedex is too expensive i have used them before and they haven't given me any trouble so tht is sooo awful.

keep up posted though

Roxie

Ya will do...dont know why I told him to used fedex cause dhl was my first thought
I have been upset for all last week but I just thank God that his passport was found.Thats
the only thing that makes me feel a bit better.

Hi everyone.... Been awhile but quick question... Wats the average amount a time from a RPRF request to a PPR request?

Thanks guys

Hi, I suggest you to take a look on the spreadsheet so you will see the amount of time from RPRF to PPR for some of people on the forum who got throught this. The link is in my signature.
If you want, give me also your info so I add you to that spreadsheet.

Guys, Good morning,

After landing, what documents do I need to start working and how soon can I start working. What are the steps. when I land I have a week to move out of where I will be staying do u think I can move around quickly enough to make this happen?

Roxie

I would like to know more about your moving....do you move with your sponsor?? Cause do you know that you must live with your sponsor for 2 years. You cant live separatly from each other. It is a new law from October 2012. So make sure you live with your sponsor if you don't want to be deported and lose your permanent residence status.

***Were you sponsored to come to Canada as a spouse or partner on or after October 25, 2012? If so, you must now live with your sponsor in a genuine relationship for two years from the day you get permanent residence status in Canada. This is a new rule.*** if you want to know more : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/protection/fraud/marriage.asp

Ok good !

These days need to speed up!!!!!!!! Gahhh

Not dealing with this very well this week. Tired of the up and down, the waiting, the crap of dealing with everything alone. I was called a single mother again, which I hate. Everyone asking how the immigration thing is going, it drives me mental. I dont have answers to anything, and Kingston VO don't give answers either. Why do they love to torture us? It definitely is torture for me. Ive got all these kids here, everyone waiting for hubby, but I just feel like I'm drowning with all this extra weight I'm carrying on my shoulders. Ive gone thru so much on my own because of this stupid process and I can't take it much longer. I did not get married so I could be a single mother. I would love to see what they actually do at this damn office, do they actually get off their asses and work, why do they take 5 times longer than other countries?

Shorty my dear, (They should have a hug Icon on here...lol) XOXOX

This awful race is not for the swift, nor this battle for the strong for we are all weak from the pressures of waiting and exhausted from the longing of our hearts. Its even harder when you have been with the person for years and the dependency you develop for them. Just their presence makes that difference, The comfort you place in them jus to know tht by 5 or 6 they will be walk through the door.

I often tell my husband, " Babe me miss you enuh,,, if a even fi the cussin" cause even that become something else these days.. The arguments nt the same, things we now discuss can only be depicted through memory or description. And our fights are now based on our frustrations and unknowingness of the future.

I wish for you and your hubby, and everyone else..... renewed understanding,,,,, continuous patience and the will to carry on with the faith that everything is where it should be and this is jus a few of the potholes of your journeys together.

HAVE A LOVELY DAY SHORTY!!!!!

DONT WORRY ??? ??? ???... BE HAPPYY!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
