Hey! Yeah, it was ridiculous! However! We got home from work and it was in the mailbox! Thank God! Right in time for him to fill out the Tax forms he brought home from work to sign! haha!

He loved his first day - he said its the same work, different place and with better tools! So that's excellent! I overheard him talking to his "BFF" in JA and he said "the only difference between us is that dey are white and I'm black! HAHA!" I'm so glad he fits right in :D

@ sammy - he was scraping off the car and comes back in and says " we need a bigger scraper - that took forever!" I keep joking around saying I need to get a baby book and start writing down all of HIS firsts!! haha!

Congrats maty!! So glad he's home safe and sound and that you are together for the minor mess ups now! ;) :D

He is just too cute MrsP!! Happy that he started and likes his new job. He definitely has the right attitude to fitting in to life in Canada and the smaller island of PEI. LOL about him memorizing his SIN that is way too adorable. He is going to make a fine and upstanding Canadian citizen.

Good Morning Bieraumane,

Yes it was an email from POS...by the way I no longer used DHL I used Fedex to return the docs (its a long story) lol

Thanks Jacwife!!! Come on POS get those PP out!!! ;)

Can u tell us why you chose not to use DHl. Did something go wrong. I would love to know because I was planning to use them to return pp to Jamaica when its our time.

As we wait for Fedex to ship hubby's PP back, can somebody please explain to me what the COPR is and/or what it looks like...I cant remember who said you cant get your SIN without it, and I really want to make sure hubby doesnt lose it.

We used DHL to ship to POS and becuz DHL does not provide the return air waybill, hubby had to fill out a return shipment request form and put the approx return date on it, well he estimated a 2 weeks return and becuz it was way past the estimated return date, the DHL rep. told my husband that it was thrown out and that it would be another 3 days before they can get the docs back to him from POS.

So I went ahead and opened a Fedex account online, and then emailed the account number to POS who then made the arrangements with Fedex....and this is the short version of my nightmare yesterday lol

Hi Mrs. Wright - the COPR is the two sheets of paper your husband gives to the immigration officer upon landing in Canada. The immigration officer will fill out the details and keep the sheet with the photo attached. The other sheet goes to your husband and he is to protect that with his life!

By way of update, I am sad for my hubby who cannot work and cannot start getting things sorted here in Halifax without his COPR but it is awesome having a house husband who cooks and cleans for me! Coming home after a long day at work is way better these days with him at home:)

Wow thanks Maty, I will tell hubby to make sure he does NOT lose it.

As for ur hubby can he get another one somehow? :(...I bet it does feel good coming home to a clean house and a cooked meal ;)...I don't know how cold it is in Quebec but here in Ontario it's like -17 and feels like -24 with windshield ???...So maybe its a good that he gets to stay at home for now.
