Ofia - you should harass your MP. Mine immediately found out what the decision was and communicated that to me within the hour (we got decision made before any word from Kingston too). The wait for you is completely inappropriate. You must be going crazy. My heart goes out to you. Good luck

Welcome to the Jam Fam basl_jhjm. Where will you guys marry? In an hotel, in a church?
My hubby and I got married in an hotel, they where taking care of everything legally wise, we only had to provide our original birth certificates and passport. I also suggest that you have few family members attending your wedding if possible and get some of your close friends and family to meet your hubby before if not already done (skype, in person, etc)... Also, pay the little extra to get the wedding certificate in double from the registrar, having both your own copy will avoid you guys headaches.

Hope that helps. Do not hesitate should you have any other specific question, either me or someone else from the tread will surely assist you.
