So now, I have a question!
If by the Grace of Faith and Kingston that my husband gets his Visa back soon (PPR request was on Dec 2, arrived in Kingston on Dec 3rd)-- can he fly home right away? I was worried about PR card etc-- is that given too? I will be in JA from Dec 20-Jan 4-- if he gets it back... does that mean (holding breath...) that we can fly home together!?!

Chnkymnky he can leave as soon as he has his COPR from them and his visa sent back to him! Happy happy joy joy!

Hi Forum,

Does anybody know how the next step for a dependent child works?

My hubby and i put his daughter on his paperwork (when we were ready we were going to bring her up, however she needs to be up before October 2015) and when he landed they said to email Kingston to say when we are ready to bring her up. Does this mean we still need to put in the paperwork for her to come up or is she already process and we just need to send in her passport.

There is no directions and Kingston takes forever if never to answer an email.

Has anybody had experience with this? Please help!

A Lot of people are saying my husband's son will need ppr as well to get his own visa so I am not sure why they would ask for the parents and not his, my husband has sole custody of him, I emailed Kingston so let's hope they reply but if anyone has come here with a minor please share your experience with this

OMG what a relief!!!

No nothing at all, they called requesting passport + air way bill to dhl thats it!

Yes he will travel alone! I dont go...but hes not stressed abt it, hes excited!

Did you have an email address listed on the application? I didn't expect they would call and my husband doesn't have his phone with him at work most of the time (he works on the water) so I am hoping they email not call. Seems like most people are getting calls these days though and I'm wondering if that is because you didn't provide an email.

Hi, was she included as Accompanying or Non Accompanying, if NA you may have to reapply, I am in the process of doing this, Husband landed this summer, adjusted (work, etc)faster than we expected... So I contacted Kingston, they say that the file has been 'closed' we have to reapply for his daughter... I contacted CIC Missisauga, they said that I should reapply indicating that they already have child's medical ( still valid)
Please let me know if you find out anything else
