Yes exactly never been In Process and trust me I was looking at ECAS 100 times per day ! lol Only Decision Made on Dec 2 and he received the call Dec 8....so it was very quick !!! I don't know if you already ordered your electronic notes but my VO is JA01318 and I can see from the beginning JD9006 so you can compare if we having the same VOs.
I telling you , when I saw Decision Made last week I thought it was a decline cause usually that is the way they proceed to advise for a Decline and a denial letter follow...no In Process only Decision Made. But now we having the proof that even you see Decision Made, its not necessarily a Decline! :D Good luck girl, wish you the best !! :-*

Thanks MelJam - I ordered my notes and they are due on Dec 15th so I will check the initials for sure. Although I am 100% hoping that I hear something before the 15th. I am just like you - checking both this forum and the ECAS 100 times a day (and therefore getting absolutely no work done!!!) All the movement from Kingston is amazing but it makes me very, very antsy!! I have a trip booked to Jamaica on Dec 29th but I booked through points so I could cancel if he were to hear something. I would love to travel with him back but it just makes WAY more sense for us to save the money for when he arrives. Lots to do once he gets here including getting him a car and insurance (which I have been told is HELLA expensive because a new immigrant is considered a new driver no matter how many years he has been driving!)

Congrat Cocovanilla!

*chanting* PPR PPR PPR PPR PPR...come on KGN and POS make Tuesday a good day for some awesome people who are patiently waiting!!!

Congrat Cocovanilla!

Not sure what province you are in (I'm in Ontario), but Insurance is what I do for a living, so thought I would chime in here with some thoughts! Yes, it will be expensive especially if your hubby is like mine - under 25, but there are things that you can do to help. First thing is before hubby leaves, have him go to his insurance there and get a letter of experience indicating that he has been insured there (if he has had his own insurance). Also, have him go to the tax office and get confirmation of when he obtained his drivers license and that he has had no tickets. While I am Insurance Broker and I hate to send people out to the banks.....after all they are our competition, I would suggest that you check out some of the banks insurance rates - they tend to view new immigrants more favourably than the stock companies do.
