First of all congrats to everyone who has seen some movement on their files recently. There is so much going on here that it's hard to keep up!! Looking forward to the many landing stories over the next few weeks. Kingston is working hard!

And now... Here's my update:

Checked ECAS today and we are "IN PROCESS" !!!

Sooo sooooooo excited to see something other than "application received" for once. I was at work and logged in with my phone. I honestly thought I was hallucinating! I was so surprised.

Yayyyyyy!! Congratulations Coco! I had a feeling you'd be next ...they're moving quick ! ;D

That is amazing CV!! It is such an amazing feeling and hopefully they don't sit on it too long. We've been in process for 3 weeks now and it is nerve wracking. Ugh!!! Your file is still in KGN right!? Good luck sweetie!!

Thanks atclarke. PPR in two weeks would be incredible. I'm so scared to get my hopes up, but just knowing that they are finally looking at our file is such a massive relief.

I was never really a believer in that "think it, and it will happen" philosophy but I had been wishing, hoping, and praying for "in process" by November 30th. Soooo.... maybe we can all start imagining PPR by the end of this week for Mr. THOR!?

As far as I know our file is still in Kingston. We never received any emails from Port of Spain and our notes generated on October 2nd say it's in Kingston.

On the spreadsheet it shows that you were asked for an FBI report. Are they asking for an updated one, or is this the first one you will be providing?

We sent ours with the initial application in January, so I'm assuming it's still valid because my husband hasn't been back to the US since the app was sent in.

Really hoping that they won't be expecting a new one from us because the current processing time is 12 weeks! Logically they shouldn't ask for it... But as we all know, logic doesn't always prevail when it comes to the immigration process!

Yes they less peoples and less newbies...but that means less applications to be proceed so its good for us!! lol

I am confident something will happen soon since I know VO requested the meds extension last week! Even I dont see ``In process`` at least I know they working also on my file!

I sure December will be a great month for everyones here!!

Did your husband pay for the return pp from dhl when it arrive and he picked it up or did they allow him to prepay at the store?

Also , what email did u use to tell POS about the dhl situation and to request that they contact you when package is ready to be returned?

I send a email to them requesting the same and they did not respond. they always respond the next day. I used the case specific inquiry form and no response.dont know if I should wait till Monday.

Hi Jacwife - sorry for the late reply - I didnt check this all weekend - Hubby paid when it came back and it was just under 12,000 because of the weight! haha I didn't leave much room for them to think we weren't genuine... the email address I always used was PSPAN-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca putting URGENT and file number in the title and they usually get back fairly quickly.

Yep you probably just have one of those VOs that doesn't like to update ECAS. At least you have an awesome MP who is willing and able to give you updates!
