Well at the end of the day 2 newbies from March 2014 are In Process since Nov. 13!! Wow Kingston will always impress me! So MP, pregnancy or what ever has nothing to do with this....as we always say...it is Kingston lottery!

Good morning Jamfam, atclarke and I have the same time line, so I really don't think her MP had anything to do with her file reaching in process so quickly. I live in Kingston, I did not pay anyone nor contact anyone in an attempt to fast track my file. I have been visiting my hubby in Canada since 2010, sometimes 3 or 4 times each year, its very expwnsive, hence im overjoy our file is being worked on. I sympathize with those persons who applied before me and have not gotten through as yet, but im postive you will hear something shortly. Please remember also that many of thw VO in the Kingston office are Canadians.

Hi good morning. What we are trying to understand is how can her Mp help with the processing because she pregnant. She said they process her file because of that.. no one is saying she payed off anyone or her file shouldn't be processed before others. It's just seem unfair that a lot of us her have kids too that want to see her father or vice versa and we are waiting 15 16 or even 20 months and nothing is wrong with their file. I guarantee If you were waiting 17 months then you will feel the same.. just my opinion still. Don't take it the wrong way. But this system is fucked up!

I agree, as happy as I am when someone gets through, when its only been a few months and someone gets movement early for just the reason of being pregnant it, its very hard to not be upset, since we've been waiting almost 17 months and still waiting for ppr. Especially when I have to comfort my 2 almost 3 year old several times a day because he misses his father. I don't think it's a reason to be put ahead of everyone.

But now I have an idea why you In Process, since you said you already came to Canada...they probably have requested or will request RCMP or something....as Steen, her status in Process since April 2014 and she still waiting for news...not sure, it's only speculation.

And I understand because thats what I am doing, 18 times in Jamaica, I am tired to travelling, wants him to travel now...! ;)

We all wish that the process be faster and faster but the only thing we can do its waiting and hang in there ! :)

Positive vybz and lets keep chanting : PPR PPR In Process In Process Passport return Passport return!

They would only request the RCMP finger prints if she was here for a stay of longer than 6 months at a time..other than that they won't request them.

This whole process is like a lottery and when your number is called it's time.

I think it's all coincidence and Kingston Lottery (as we call it)... as an example for hubby and I, VERY straight forward case, we saw one another 17 times (almost 18, but he landed) in 2.5 years. No kids, no exclusion orders, no record, nothing... just didn't look at it until a year in and he still wasn't here until 3 more months after that.... it's insane. I hope they do crack down on the entire process and make it STREAMLINE. It should be fair, not just "pull one out of the pile"

Super happy for those who have gotten through, but for those of you lucky enough to see progress after a few months, I am happy that you haven't had to feel the pain of silence for over a year and told to "wait your turn" by Kingston. It's very discouraging and unfortunate.
