Congratulations to everyone who received good news over the past little while. I've been hanging around in the background celebrating every little victory with everyone.

I'm getting ready to head to Jamaica on Monday for our interview on Wednesday. Got all our forms and additional proof and pics and all that stuff they asked for ready.

I'm wondering if they will finish our process after the interview in Kingston or send everything to POS? I was kind of hoping hubby would be able to come home with me on November 28th when I return. Keeping my fingers crossed that it could work out that way.

MelJam: sorry. I should have clarified my status is application received not decision made. That is only on the sponsorship approval. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok I made the correction. Probably the same with Stacy status. So I put back medicals received as before. Thanks

Thanks! I really hope so, but I also thought that last year it'd so hard to keep positive our son and I have only seen hubby for 2 weeks in the last 18 months.. I just hate this process and am getting so frustrated as I'm sure others are here to.

Steen, you can never trust what your MP says. I was told that our file wouldn't be done until June 2015 and the Monday after she said that, we got the email to attend the interview. I'm sure it will be sooner than he/she said.

Thanks Lexi! I really hope so everything is so much more difficult with hubby in Jamaica. It's been almost 17 months and I'm so tired of this process and the way we have to live during it and the mp getting my hopes up just to have them crushed again doesn't help

Lexi....was your hubby requested to bring in his Passport as well at the time of the interview? If he did he "may" be able to come home with you on the 28th...all depends on their decision and how fast they move.

Yes they requested his passport. Cross your fingers and toes for us. It would be such a great surprise for my little one if he was to return with me.

Don't worry too much about it hun. I'm 15 months into this process and look I still don't hear nothing from pos.... so we are not alone.

We also need to remember there is a lot of applicant that is not on this forum have been waiting a long time too.. so continue being patient

Thanks!! I'm trying to be patient it's just very difficult (as you know to). Then when my son asks for his father about 20x a day and it just breaks my heart over and over again and make it very hard to be patient . But I'm trying just hoping that anyday now it'll be our turn. Thanks again for the encouragement!!

Can you advise what is your timeline? And if you see in process you should hear some news soon depending on what Kingston requested on your file...do you have to provide RCMP, ARC or new meds, PC or any documents? Give us a little more information!

Lexi have a safe flight to JA and GOOD LUCK with the interveiw on Wednesday!! Please keep us posted and let us know how it goes. I have my fingers and toes crossed that they ask for his passport right after the interview and then give it back with the shiny visa before you head back. Hmmm, maybe you should book his seat beside you on the plane

Welcome to the JamFam AtClarke! I am in a similar situation in that they changed my ECAS to "In Process" on November 6th, but I haven't heard anything yet. Use to be that when it went to "In Process" it meant that they had sent out a request of some sort (i.e. asking for PC, add docs, passport), but now I guess it has changed yet again. Anything to keep us on our toes, stressed and wondering. Please keep us posted on your journey. Can you provide us with a little information...when you applied, received sponsorship approval, etc.? There is a spreadsheet that shows you timelines for others. You can find it under MelJam's signature.
