Hi jamfam!! Congrats to all who have seen movement/gotten ppr and who have landed it's finally over for you!! I'm so happy for you all!!! Reading your landing stories is the only thing giving me hope right now. We've been waiting at in process since April and my mp has just informed me that Kingston will take at least 90+ days to even look at our file from the time they got RCMP check back (sept 8th) which means if she is right hubby won't be home with me and our son for Christmas again I feel so defeated. Had anyone ever gotten ppr in less then 90 days from RCMP report?

Nope they all confirmed to me that ECAS changed to Decision made since they got contacted for interviews!

Hey JamFam!!! POS is on the ball right now....

They rec'd hubby's docs on Tuesday and then before noon on Wednesday they emailed to ask us to "make Courier arrangements right away". At first I thought, OK they rec'd hubby's docs without the prepaid and are slapping my wrist about it a little...so I still contacted DHL Jamaica and they emailed me forms to fill out so that hubby didn't have to make that special trip in for just a signature and then I sent them back saying to make arrangements with DHL POS asap...not sure if they did or not yet (emailed them to confirm just this am). And then I emailed POS asking them to clarify if the docs were ready to be shipped out or if it was just about prepaid etc, and POS emailed me at 730 this morning saying that yes the docs are in fact ready for pick up!!!

I can't even believe it. Hopefully, DHL JA is on the move and notified DHL POS so that hubby can have those docs in his hand by Monday...*fingers cros









Wow!!! I am so happy for you!! Your husband will be here soon. You must be so excited. Glad to see that the DHL situation is working out. let us know how fast it gets back to you.

I am so sorry to hear this, I hope it will be faster...

I understand your feelings because I wont have hubby home for Christmas too and this for a second time since we married. But the only thing we have to keep in mind...its gonna be the last Christmas like this right?

Thanks! I really hope so, but I also thought that last year it'd so hard to keep positive our son and I have only seen hubby for 2 weeks in the last 18 months.. I just hate this process and am getting so frustrated as I'm sure others are here to.

Same here, last year I really thought I would go throught within 12 months...but no...impossible now! But it has to have a end to this waiting and its around the corner...if it is not for Christmas its gonna be for Valentine!

Definitely don't no what I would do either. No one else seems to understand at all. And I've learned sooo much from here too I would have probably never even known about ordering notes or med extensions if it wasn't for this awesome group!!

Yea same for me! This is THE thing who helps to go throught....nobody can really understand out of here. Like sometimes at work some peoples are like :`` I miss my boyfriend, will see him only this week-end! `` Im like...shut the phuck up man...you wont make me cry !!! Sometimes I just do not have any patience with people who telling things like that. lolol fi real !

Ya I no exactly what you mean! Makes me crazy when I hear people so devastated about not seeing there hubby for like 2-3 days at a time but I just bite my tongue even though it just makes me so upset.

Yea that is just too crazy and I am happy it soon done because it is too much to manage sometimes! But as I told hubby after this waiting....the world belong to us!! 8)
