Hey it didn't go well at all apparently they got a tip he married me to come to Canada ! His babymother is trifling and must have made the call because all they discussed in the interview was her! (She's Canadian by the way) and she travels down to visit family and he gets to see his child that way also but, she has it in her twisted mind they will end up together ! So the officer pretty much said its like hes in 2 relationships and sent him away with his passport in hand but kept all his documents he brought in with him and she told him she would send her decision by mail! He made the mistake of taking pics with his babymother and kid and I think she sent them to immigration she has been trying to make me disappear since we got together ! I'm so irritated and heart broken I don't even know what to do with myself ......I don't know what to do period . He brought in all our bank account info ,life insurance policy, digicel receipts ,itineraries etc......Someone please shed some light for me ! All he does is try and keep that dumb b**** happy cause she is one of those women who hold the kid over the mans head !

Sounds like she might have said something to them to try and stop this. If he wanted to come to Canada so bad he would have gotten together with her just to do so....but he didn't. He is with you!!! Do you have anyone that can write letters on your behalf maybe telling CIC that this is real and what his baby mama is like? You have way more than enough proof of your relationship so it doesn't make sense.

I really hope that things will be fine and they just need time to look through all the info. Please keep us updated and we are all here if you need to vent things out.

I did send letters from friends and family with our app originally I guess I will get people to write new ones regarding her and her badmind ways ! I'm so sad...........

Thanks girl I'm so confused, They kept all his documents could that be a good thing I wonder?!?!? I'm just devastated they didn't keep his passport

I got ahold of my mp and she confirmed it is the RCMP check we are waiting on to finish our file, she said she is trying to contact someone in RCMP to find out whats going on but she said they are so very busy that even though they have had the request for 4 months now. She said 4 months is nothing for them to have it BC there so busy. I'm so disappointed and I'm worries hubby doesn't have a chance to be home by Christmas or our sons birthday anyone else here of this?? That 4 months is nothing for waiting time for RCMP to send a report??

Is this them requesting for a redo or just for the first time?

Just keeping everyone updated. I did email Kingston , my MP, my MPP and Alexander's office. First to respond today is my MP's office The woman I spoke to has dealt with immigration for ten years. She said immigrstion does not have to give you an interview. It is NOT a requirement. If I can show her where it says that , she will certainly bring it to their attention. If I cannot find it , she recommends I appeal as she has seen many appeals turn out successful. That's all for now , just letting you know I'm told interviews are not mandatory.

Mrs. Davis - my good gf is an immigration lawyer (clearly very fortunate for me ) and she likened this process to a battle of wills. She told me to sit down and hold on because it was going to be a long, rough ride. Essentially CIC wants to see what kind of fight you have in you to get through this process. So I am very confident you will be succesful on appeal and this is just another test CIC is throwing your way. So don't give up - and good luck!

I can't find anything for Family, but under refugees, it states that a positive OR negative outcome for an application does NOT require an interview, however an appeal is significantly more successful when no interview happened.

I've been trying to find the information as well

Have you ordered your noted the past week or so to see what they say? Also....i guess you are appealing and getting your blue book or whatever they call it
