Well...got our notes today and they started working on our file July 30th!! They have no concerns over our relationship or anything. Criminal or Security haven't been started yet though but they may have been as these notes were done in August. Our new bring forward date is September 30th.

Also there was a little note there to my MP..I guess they checked up on my file and I didn't know. My MP never emailed me to tel me anything. In the beginning of July they (Kingston) said they were working on file from Jan-Mar 2013.....however by the end of the month they are working on June files!!! Shows how they work there...all over the place.

Sammy our vo is working slowly but surely girl, it just pains me how slow that person is working, they didnt send my file to pos either so our file probably in the pile on that vo desk.

Well, I just hung up with CIC and they said our file is in Kingston and the agent don't see any information about that the file went to Port of Spain yet. So I think I will ask Port of Spain why they confirmed to me that our file was there....was it an error or what? Thats so ridiculous. I cant even say this to hubby for now, he gonna snap ! kmt :-X

Sammmy Thats another questions I had to ask you......do u think i should apply for my notes aswell and if so do i apply separately for sponsorship then for permanent residents card? or is it immigration file : permanent resident?

You won't have any notes yet as you don't have SA....but if you want to try it would be immigration file - sponsorship and your file is still in Mississauga..only your sponsor can order these though.

does anyone know if there is a specific place in the gcsm notes that say the new expiry date of the extended medicals ( or even if its been confirmed to be extended)? our notes from july say they sent out a request to extend the medical in april, but no info as if it has actually been extended, our september notes did not even change at all even the july 30th 2014 bring forward date is still at july 30th 2014 ? hubby is concerned that if we email kingston to much they will just get annoyed and not do our file on purpose, so now i dont know i figured maybe if we asked if our medical was extended they may wake up a bit but now im unsure. any suggestions??

Then it goes on to payments...


I'm starting to wonder if I ordered the wrong notes maybe? At the top of each page the title says gcsm information request: sponsorship application. And the whole thing is 24 pages long but it does have notes from the officers which is how I know they requested to extend it. So confused now

Sometimes it definitely feels that way. So, sit back, buckle in and take a ride. It's very stressful and heartbreaking, but so worth it in the end when we are in the arms of the one we love.

If nothing else, this journey has taught me about patience.

Did you get the notes that are about 35 or so pages and say Applicantion or did you get the sponsor ones where there isn't as many pages? All applicant ones have admissibilities section. page 6-9 or there around

You won't get a new UCI number as those don't change. There is a UCI number for the sponsor - never changes- and the PR applicant also gets a number - different than the spouses. So if you never had your spouses UCI number then that is what it is.
