That does sound promising Lexi!

When you go to the cic website and check application it shows "Date Modified: 2014-08-25" so wonder if they are not up to date?? Anyone know if when you check your status if it is current or relies on when the website was last modified??

I checked ECAS and no change. Still says Decision Made and Date Modified: 2014-05-15 so they haven't updated the system since then.

I sent an email last Wednesday through the website CSE link and then sent a direct email last night, so I would assume that the direct email was the one I received the response to.

Thanks everyone for your positive vibes. I really appreciate all the support you constantly and consistently give. You are a wonderful group of people and I am proud to say I am a part of. :-*

It's always business days...so it would have been 5 business days not including the weekend. And it's ture....they aren't always ready when they say they are.

My husband paid for the 3 week and tomorrow will be 4 weeks and that is when we can pick it up.

:P in case you are unaware, they're approximate processing times are in JAMAICA time! lol Hubby paid for and requested a 7 day PC... he got it at almost 3 weeks. I think unless it's overnight, you're basically guaranteed the extended wait times.... pfft!

At least he will pick it up and get it sent in soon!!! :-* :-* :-*

Hey peeps. I'm so bummed these last few days. I'm just in a funk. I'm getting cross at Mr.P over the DUMBEST things...and I know I'm being unreasonable, but I'm just so discouraged.

We need to hear of some movement happening...like yesterday. Hubby is supposed to go pick up his PC tomorrow -- anyone know how much it costs to send directly to Trindad?

Hold the faith Mrs Parkin...you are coming up on your year and for the most part thats when immigration makes their first contact....
this has not been easy for anyone of us. we are all in the same boat and sometimes it feels like its sinking but dont let it stop you from believing that it will come because..it will.

Thanks for letting us know this i too was hesitant cause i used a consultant and thought they wouldnt reply to me. I am going to pm u for the details.

Has anyone used the CSE upload for the documents. I'm sure it would work and save money on courier charges from Jamaica to Trinidad.
