So everyone got a letter from POS that their file was transferred, because we didn't.

I didn't either so don't feel left out Lexi...lol! I just know bc I sent them an email. Maybe a letter is on the way??!

I did not receive an email yet but I guess because I am in December batch !!!! But at least 2 peoples received that email. The first one was Palara, thats the way we all learned that maybe our files got fowarded to PoS and called CIC to know.

For all of you wondering about information I would like to point out that throughout my ENTIRE process. I never once got a COR (confirmation of receipt) letter, or any kind of correspondence from ANYONE at ANYTIME. I didn't know I was supposed to so I never asked questions until I found this forum. SO if you do not know where your file is keep calling and getting a new person until you get a an answer or helpful guidance or e-mailing. This is RIDICULOUS. They cant just send off your application without telling you what is happening.

Mike didnt mention that his file was transferred to POS...he just said he got a letter with all his info on it.

Mike - can you confirm if your file went to POS or Kingston? Does it say on the letter?

Mike -- it should say at the bottom of the letter : Trinidad and Tobago

Ok wen my wife mail the file from Canada in nov 2013 she got a letter tru mail in jan 2014 saying she as been approved and that letter had her uci and app# and it further stated that they send the file to Kingston Jamaica on the 6 of jan. And that letter was the last communication from them to us until yesterday cic email me a letter with my uci and app#

So can anyone say why do the files go to port of Spain. Cause as I said earlier the letter my wife got in the initial stage stated that she is approved as a sponsor and they transferred the file to Canadian embassy Kingston Jamaica

They were transferred for redistribution reasons to relieve the backlog in Kingston is what CIC told me.

We having the same timeline and our file also in Port of Spain and the only thing I can say right now is that I feel happy to know that they doing things on December files so that means they work fast! Well I hope that I am not wrong!
