I think that means that it's in kingston and that's all. If it was transferred elsewhere I think they would say.

I was legit thinking that too, but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. I've heard of many occurrences where they become especially secretive when it's in the FINAL stage and won't tell the sponsor ANYTHING, not even if it's been transferred to Kingston.

Don't forget Sammy, if you don't get PPR before, make sure hubby sends in that PC as soon as he can. I have a gut feeling that will jumpstart your sleeping VO. :-* :-* :-* :-*

HI everyone, finally next week, I am submitting our application. there has been a few issues within my family and change in employment etc so this all contributed to the delay in getting the application. But it sure gave us time to gather all the documentation and ensure a completeness. But yes we are coming up to our one year anniversary on the 21st of September and its disheartening to see the new application times of 27 months. Soon to add on the spreadsheet...after the 11th.

I used an immigration consultant to help me finalize the application he gave me some type of application # however I am not able to obtain any information on line. I am not sure what the number represents. It has 2 letters in the begining 9 numbers and 2 letters at the end.

When you have received your sponsorship approval letter, you should see 2 importants numbers. The UCI and the Application file No. So with those numbers it is easy to find your info. With the UCI you have to enter your information ( your family name, your DOB and your country of birth) and if you enter the Application number you have to enter your husband information....Can you find those numbers ?

soooo I finally got a super nice agent on the phone today and our file is in Kingston still. She did tell me it looks like they are working on it as there was some updates last week but she couldn't tell me what they were.
