Some people are here but don't post anything - they are reading what is going on. Which isn't really that much.

Good afternoon everyone!

First I would like to congratulate Ninirae & Zoey for their hubby's PPR/visa and Mrs, Mr & Miss Sammystorm for their soon to come bundle of joy. Your little family will soon be reunited as it should be Sammy, I can feel it!!!

I've been out for a while because I was a bit too depressed & didn't want to spread negative energy in here, wanted to wait until I have good news to share myself but I couldn't help it, I missed you guys. Hubby and I haven't heard from Kingston yet either, called CIC yesterday to know if his file was transfered somewere else and it seems that it is still in Kingston. I am waiting to receive my set of notes that I ordeded in the beggining of Aug, maybe I'll get them tommorow (Keeping my fingers crossed "Hands and feet!!!!").

My hubby re did his passeport because it will expire real soon, he will send his new police record and new passeport copy approved by his JP next week. October is my man's B'day, I'm arriving on that very special day to spend a week with him, I am hoping and praying that we will be able to cross the security together this time, we can't take this anymore, it's killing us slowly.

It is our 5th anniversary today, 5 long years of long distance love and yet our love and our bond continues to grow stronger. We've waited long enough, we've passed the test 200%, we belong together before the end of 2014!!!

Sending positive vibes to each and everyone of you, we need plenty of good news and PPR, PPR, PPR, PPR, PPR!!!!!!!!! :-*

I was beyond pissed off last week when I heard all this was happening and I wasn't able to get any answers from anyone. This is MY life that they are dealing with and I deserve to know the answers. Thank goodness for a super nice lady who has a heart and was able to help me out.

Now to sit here and wait even more for Kingston to contact me. I am also waiting for out notes. I should get them in about 3 weeks....so we will see if my Vo has got off her butt and changed anything

Hi Sammy, I understand completely your frustration, I have the same view as you, this kind of treatment is unacceptable.

Sometime I feel that's discrimination against the countries that has to deal with Kingston office, when you look at an office like Paris, Rabat or Warsaw, 9 month each...This is ain't right for us.

I have been married and living with my wife for 8 years and we have 3 children's together( I lived in the Caribbean for over 10 years), I am more than pissed off with them and especially when no one wants to answer any question...When you call these people at the CIC, most of them are useless, what a waste of taxes.
Just don't give up, things will have to happen at some point...

Hey JamFam...Cafelatte I'm so glad you are going to see hubby! Happy 5 years love, I'm sorry you don't get to share it together - but this will be the LAST one apart, it has to be! I can definitely understand why you've been depressed, I sure do hope your time is nearly over and your hubby will get to join you before the year is out!

I am pumped to be going to JA in October...29 more days!! bring. it. on!

Also!! 6 more days until landing NINI!!! I'm so pumped about that!! Looks like the JamFam could REALLY use a landing story to cheer everyone up a bit! (and give us an excuse to bawl at our desks in happiness )

Cafelatte hang in there your time is soon coming as well!! We all on this forum understand the depression, anger and frustration that each feels so please do not be a stranger. We are here to help encourage and support one another. Congrats on 5 years of being together!! I am going to pray that your trip down in October means he returns with you!! When will you be there and where on the island? MrsP and I will be there mid october and plan to meet for dinner and a movie with our hubbies ;D

Does the Quebec sponsorship take a bit longer than the other provinces since there is an additional step to do?

My theory is that KGN is busy working on all the Apr-Aug files (so you are in there) and their next batches (Sep and Oct) were sent to PoS for some assistance. Hopefully you, Mrs D, Sammy, LDH, etc. will be getting your PPRs VERY VERY soon!! Hang in there girl!! Baby ShSh and you will be in daddy's arms shortly!

6 days is correct! I'm getting anxious and just really want it to hurry up and be over.... but that being said, I am incredibly grateful for where I am at in my process and would never be ungrateful about it.

I want a wave of PPR to come in again to start giving everyone hope... we're all in a bit of a slump... Sh&Sh, Mrs. David.... SAMMYSTORM... many more... you need your spouses NOW!

I like this one, a idea just came to my head has I posted this, we must keep the faith and even though we know the immigration system is full of CRACKERY. What breaks you will make you stronger and their is a spouse at the end of the tunnel with their passport in there hand

4. Challenging each other and doing things together apart.

Find something that you both enjoy and do it together apart. For us, it was these crazy home workouts.

We started them at the same time, we'd keep each other accountable, we'd compare results, victories, the good days and the bad days, we'd bring each other up on the days when we didn't feel like working out and kept on track because it was something we did together. It also got us in incredible shape.
