I am so happy today to finally be certain that this process is over for my family and I am praying that Kingston continues to process the files in the same fashion.

I was in Jamaica for my first anniversary in November and I meet a lady from Alberta who was the supervisor for Immigration and she assured me that I would hear something very soon and that they were mandated to add additional resources and head count in order to move forward with all files both in Canada and Outside and she was correct.

For all the members awaiting continue to be patient and rest assure that your time is coming as they are working through the back log files, keep in mind some cases are more complicated and especially if you are filing for more than one person on the application and take into consideration if your family member has travelled because the Security part of the process is the longest part and this is why some cases are processed within the timelines and some fall outside.

For the most part the strike / go slow process has been the major factor in all of the waiting process but appears they are working full speed ahead and we will all continue to support each member through this process and I look forward to reading all the good news. This forum has assisted me with being able to identify that I am not alone in this process and although I have not been an active member on this site I have valued each and everyone's feedback and experiences. God bless you and your family and CHICKE thanks for all your wisdom and moral words of support.....the best is yet to come for you and your family... Happy Sunday ..........GOD BLESS...... it has been five years in the waiting although I have only been married for less than two but I have been to JA at least 10 times a year and my whole life was on hold I can finally be released so I will enjoy the summer here in Canada and do internal travelling.....

Hi forum. Soon to be my new fam. In the process of submitting application for hubby and step son. Advise and tips??! Sending paperwork to hubby. Can I email the pdfs and he print and sign. Trying to save costs and time. Thx. And yahhhh for chickie. Look forward to hearing the landing story. Aiming to get app in late april. Thank you LCW! I sort of know what to expect from Kingston by simply coming to this forum. Waiting here in JA feeling like my life is on PAUSE has not been easy however, the knowledge I've gained from the experiences of these members have been priceless and helpful.
