You're not the only one. I only emailed them twice. once to confirm change of phone numbers (May/June 2013) and once to confirm receipt of RPRF (Jan 2014). Both times they responded in about a day with a very informal (non-automated) response which I was appreciative of because it means they actually looked at the file to verify my information.
I figure, you cannot force them to go any faster if they don't want to so I just sit and wait and make the absolute best of my time in preparation for hubby. I've asked him the things he will want access to, things he will need, types of stores he will want to go to. I want to do my absolute best to make him as comfortable as possible without smothering him, so if I take the time to find out all the little things now, it will be a tiny bit smoother transition when he comes (hopefully).
When I was there last week, he had already started packing... all the things he doesn't wear often. He knows it could still be another load of months, but he's trying to stay optimistic. He's absolutely wonderful.
