Hi all,

I am an active member in the Skilled Workers forum and have been waiting quite awhile to hear from Kingston. I have been silently following this forum for some time as a friend of mine is the same boat as you guys as well as sorta see what our VO is up to. I must say I admire the support you guys have been giving each other. The daily motivation is so inspiring. Please do keep it up and I hope you guys are reunited with your spouses very soon!

Thank you all motivating me during this tiresome process although I am not on here regularly.
I have not posted on here for some time. I am here looking for some information about our case. Our e-cas was changed to in-process on January 28, 2014 and my husband received a request for his passport and to redo is police check. My question: If they did not ask for the medical to be redone, does that mean that it has been extended? Medical completed November 2012. I use to be on the spreadsheet but has since been removed, may I please be re-added. Information on my status and previous post.

Hi I am new here and I am so glad that I found some people who are in a similar situation as me. I have been married since August 10, 2012, I have a 10 month old daughter. Hubby has been fortunate to have received two TRV in the past with one still valid. I am in Jamaica currently as my maternity leave does not finish until april which gives me time to spend with hubby and our daughter. My husband and daughter are my two greatest blessings so I would like hubby to get through ASAP as it is going to be difficult leaving him :'(. My application was received by missisauga on December 11, 2012, AOR January 5, 2013. File transfer January 11, 2013. Medical results received. I am now playing the waiting game like many others. For the individuals who has been successful in your application, what do you think worked in your favour?

Congrats CHW!! What is the date of your last medicals? I believe others on the forum have said that they can extend them to 15 months.

Morning Morning Morning hope everyone good i like share my news got a call just to lomg ago telling to carry in my passport as soon as possible was still sleeping wen i was talking to the person but wen i hang up i realize wat i jus heard and i am overjoy and at the same time kinda shell shock but Father God works anyway you guys dont let ppl get you down wit the process because what is for you noone can take it cause a the Father provide suh the hombre wa feel d need fi rub it in the ppl face need fi build n humble himself.........i pray everyone get thru n that for real cause i dont see way the fighting one love

Hey guys,
Good news!
My hubby got an email asking him to take his medicals and criminals record again (Meds received March 23,2012). Im surprised they want this to be done because I noticed that so many people got an extension instead of being asked to do it over. Have you guys ever heard of this? Does anybody know the prices in Kingston for all of these? Thanks again for your help

Rockstone was your last medicals done March 2012? If so that is almost 23 months ago so makes sense tht he will need to have them redone. Have heard of them extending medicals up to 15 months only. Good news though bc if they are asking for them to be redone they are working on your file! Sorry cannot help you regarding prices in Kingtson but can tell you that in MoBay it was 11850JAD but think paid extra 2000 bc of tattoos. Police reports in MoBay wer 6K for express and 3K for 21 days. Not sure if same applies in Kingston.

Yes our medicals expired; I did get notes last year and the notes also indicated that they are expired.

There was also no indication of whether or not they will be extended so I am preparing myself for them to ask to have it re-done.

All the best with everything; just get everything re-done as soon as you can so you hopefully dont have to wait too long.
