I'm enjoying the stories too... so glad i'm not the only cyber-er lol i imagine the internet has made the state of immigration so much more difficult and busy... in this day and age, people can meet and develop relationships with someone on the other side of the world easier than they can with ones in their home town (it's a lot less work at least lol)

howmuchlonger... you sound a bit like us in that it was a relationship of the world so to speak... half the time my hubby and i have been together he's been in the UK... what brought you on cruises every 3m if you don't mind me asking??

missing.... that list was quite comical i enjoy 6 (have a grandfather in that mindset)... so you met your hubby with when you were burning up with fever? funny... always seems there's some element of fate, no?

kc... glad the weather is warming up! guess m'ville is a special place for you two, no? i've always enjoyed it there too... but last time i went it was for luau afterparty and i was just wiped... i kept falling asleep on hubby's shoulder.. opps!

well the packing is almost done... somehow... what's left i have no idea how to fit it all... was hoping not to bring 5 carryons, but it looks like we will have to... ah well.. did manage to take it down from 8 large cases to 7... yay me!

hey all....didnt come on here all day. today was a trying day for me, a very hard day and because of everything that happened im thankful to be alive. life goes on, its days like today when i miss hubby so much i just break into tears, needed his support. his backative.

anyway, just wanted to hail you all up, still have not read all the postings since today, i plan to catch up right now but i just wanted to say that i wish us all a lot of good news this week. i am keeping the faith.....

Good afternoon family

Well not sure if this is an update ...but it made me feel a wee bit better about our filing!! My MP called me this morning while I was at work so I returned her phone call when I got home and she informed me that KG emailed them finally this morning they received our selection certificates, and our file is up for review, but no date is set and no further action from the applicant is needed at this time, and that a note has been taken on this file and it will be handled in order of when it was received , the MP also has a "name" of the IO handling our file. SO hopefully, praying that this moves our file to "PP REQUEST" Please Please Please!!!!

chelley have a great trip back to Canada with your family!!

Hi gang, my apologies for not posting earlier but had a buddy down for the last week or so and did some travelling around the island. Went para-sailing in Negril, a few parties, and as he has a Jamaican girlfirend here I am sure he enjoyed some indoor activities as I did on the rainy days. Been hot here this week, staying on for an extra 2 weeks. It could drop 10 degrees though for me, the +35 are brutal for a canadian. The good news is I can join the weight loss group, lost 10 lbs since I came down, too hot to eat much.

Yeah KC you need weights but no more than 3-5 lbs. More would be suicide.

HI forum...its been a while.....
please dont ask why am up 4am ....i cannot sleep these days.......
sorry I havent written on here but I been through so much the month of April words cannot describe....
I been through a big big obstacle in my life..I can honestly say it was the worst time I ever had in my life......and it showed me what life is all about....the things we take for granted like our freedom should be cherished......I am not in a place to share what happened to me but just know that I am safe,and moving on with my life......
there was even a point where I wanted to just stop the sponsorship and give up on everything ...but everything happens for a reason and this just makes me stronger ...I am now healing and that is why I wasnt heard from for this long..
I just want to say thanks to everyone who asked if am okay.......just showing the love
