CONGRATS Mismine ;D , I know there is hope for everyone on this forum I have been reading the forum the past couple of days and I realize people are frustrated they assume things they post comments that are not nice. This forum is here to keep every one uplifting,i understand that everyone situation is different but we are all here to support everyone with good or bad news, please my forum family please hang in there. To the Maddants what ever decision was made take your time and as someone on the forum mention share your story when you can ok. Not everyone can really deal with bad news after waiting so long its a very hard process for us all please don't bash anyone but just welcome them with open arms. My wish is for everyone to have there partner with them I would love each and everyone on this forum to get through. Chickie,Nev and my self I think we are the ones with longest wait so far,correct me if am wrong I never review the spread sheet while writing, but am in my 22mths now my Lawyer send an e-mail on Monday as he was really upset that they never reply to his Oct e-mail,they can be very rude those immigration people.Lest I forget O&O YOU WILL BE JUST FINE ;D,THANK YOU ALL MY FORUM FRIENDS HAVE A GREAT DAY AND THINK POSITIVE.

Is there a number to call and just simply ask them if they recieved our file, they said they will reply within 30 days but at this point i dont really trust they will.

I would wait 30 days and if you don't hear from KG then send them a follow up email. I believe there is a phone number in the Sponsorship approval letter that you can call or you can check the website.

Just wondering for those who have applied after Oct 2012 and have landed. When your husbands/wives went
to the embassy to drop off the passport did they have to sign a form that requires immigration to turn up to your house to see if your living together? He said he never had to complete another schedule a. He said he signed off about 5 forms. She stated I hope your marrying for love a lot of caribbean island marriages were a convenience.

We can't forget about Daddys Girl...she's from early 2012 too!

It is unbelievable how many people have been waiting a year and longer...I don't remember it being like this since the KG thread started in 2010...

My hubby's ticket is finally booked and he will be coming home December 18. I just told him last week that I'm booking the ticket and he didn't say much, but his best friend told me that he's more than ready.

That's great news, samll1!!!!

@ O & O i think i have figured out what they were trying to tell your hubby when he went to drop off his passport. Since you are under the new conditional rules this is what they were trying to tell him. Click the link and read below:

there is even a part there that says additional investigations may be undertaken in cases where there is reason to believe that the condition is not being met or has not been met. (i think this is what she means about the home visit) Hope that helps you.

Yes did she forget or read clearly that we married in Canada. I don't know how the island marriages had to come in this. I would of applied inland but the lawyer suggested Outland he would of made it inland as his other friends did and were in the same situation. Oh well they can think what they want we know our marriage is real we fell in love. I'm sorry he experienced it but we live and learn.

Thank you darling was trying to research it they can come visit all they want even investigate our room. I will even get the landlord he's a police officer in JA to write a letter we lived together for4 months.

If I had money like that and not being in school I would have my own place but that isn't the case. We will get our own place with a lease when hubby finds a job. We don't have any bills in Canada together just our cell phone and bank account. Them to judge or marriage is ridiculous but they are welcome anytime I will show them how we live. His mother in law wi surely put them in their place lol.

Love is not something that finds you everyday. I don't regret marrying my husband my mom just says all she wants is her baby girl to be happy and treated well. Praying that next Tuesday we get back his passport with a shiny visa. Wed is my birthday so for him to be home to fly home on my birthday would just be a dream made in heaven.
