Hi Everyone,

It's been a while, I've had a busy summer with my husband being back home.
We've been busy, he's been busy. He got back his job with his old company and were trying to remain strong. We argue a bit cause he's back to hanging out with the friends every second of the day but he's trying.

I'm gonna go read everyone's update. I would love to see whose husband came up.

Oh best way for me to explain is that our immigration officers making the big decisions are Canadian citizens so they go to places such as Jamaica on work terms. These work terms usually are for "x" years and in July/August the term ends so the old staff ships out and a new one comes in to take over. This is one reason for the summer lag.

I hope that I explained that as good as it was explained to me lol

Tintin so good to hear from you!! It's so funny how the stress of immigration disappears instantaneously and the honeymoon starts but the real life happens quick. I wouldn't trade it for the world but there are definitely adjustments.

Happy your journey is finished and u have ur hubby by ur side!!

Hey forum,
Just thought I would pop in and say "Hi"!

So as most of you know, I am 7 months pregnant with our "landing" baby lol. Being pregnant, I have some wicked dreams (which a cple have come true!). I just wanted to share my dream last night on a positive note. It was for chickie. I had a dream that your husband got a phone call from immigration. I don't know what they said to him but it made you happy and you were announcing your journey is over. In my dream I was standing next to you when your husband called you. Now seeing as we have never met before (and I've never dreamed of you before lol) it was strange to me when I woke up but I wanted to share, cuz ya just never know!!!

Good luck to all! September is coming fast and that means holidays are over, new staff have been exchanged, and Kingston can get over the summer lag.

What wonderful news that your hubby got his former job back! And there's bound to be growing pains in your relationship but you'll work through them!

If anyone understands this longggggg and grueling process it is you! As usual, Kingston was quiet this summer so there's not too many updates to read. We're eagerly awaiting some action in the next couple of weeks so we can be reunited with our significant others no later than Christmas!

He sent his passport in Tuesday with his flight itinerary and they called today, he officially has his passport back!! 2 days to have his passport back! That's crazy fast! I leave sept 1 to jamaica and we will land back in Canada sept 5! It's happened so fast.

Congrats that was super fast all the best to you and yours. Can't wait to read your landing story. Lol as I am here in JA I am already going through my husbands clothes nd shoes what he will bring home. I'm so crazy I pressed his dress tops today lol so they are ready to go.
