HELLO i was added to your spreadsheet some time ago, and wanted to share some new to be updated. My application is INLAND, but was transferred to Kingston to complete for my 2 step daughters that are accompanying. We received DM on July 5th 2013 and we just received a phone call for our landing date in Etobicoke on August 30th 2013.
I was told on the phone that an email will be sent to continue processing the girls after his landing date. does anyone know roughly how long the passport request could take? I am just trying to make up a timeline of sorts for myself. thank you.

hey there, i put that on there hoping you would see it and answer me LOL, so they have not asked for your hubbies passport yet? I will change the other part you mentioned also.

Im asking about passport request in Jamaica, when passport is requested in Jamaica do they mail it in or take it to Kingston, and how long does it take?

oh sorry, you can take it in or send it by DHL and usually you have to send another DHL envelope in with it so it can be sent back to you. Most times it takes approximately 2 weeks to get the passport back but if you look at the spreadsheet you will see it is now taking over a month to get passport back.

LOL. I know what you mean. I emailed them once or twice but no reply my dear. It's almost a month now. Wonder if the foreign service strike is really affecting kgn? Also, I guess the summer holidays are also taking a toll on the speed of Kgn office.

Hey Stacyr320 was reading your post about the hour long interrogation at person lol not to worry I think at one point or another we all go through that . I was red flagged in the sysyem because I was making so many trips out there I used to go every long weekend. At one point I was detained the customs officer tore through all my luggage and then asked me tell him what I did from the morning I woke up till I reached the airpprt lol if anyone know me they could just tell the detailed description I have the officer lol I told him well I woke up and the first thing I did was ride my hubbys cock for half hour .....lol needless to say 2 min into my explanation he cut me off and told me I was free to go

Thanks very much for this update as I was just speaking about it to a friend of mine since my passport is taking so long to be returned. I am happy the strike has not affected Kgn so I take it it's just the holiday mode that Kgn is in that's causing the slowdom!

Hello everyone. FYI I had my MP's office look into the strike... this is what they told me today.

Hi "Mrs Brown",

We hope you're well and that you had a nice weekend.

We just wanted to follow-up with you regarding your inquiry with respect to whether the Kingston visa office has been affected by the strike action. We heard back from David's contacts this morning and they informed us that of the 15 missions affected, Kingston, Jamaica is not one of the affected offices at this time.

We hope this information is helpful.

so thats great news for all of us... not so great for our brothers and sisters at different missions...

Quick question, why when I try and check my husbands application under his name it gives "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons" , but it gives me the decision made for sponsorship for me and they application received for his portion???

wow i honestly thought i was the only one..your stories are exactly like mine... glad to know its kinda normal..next time ill be less stressed and prepared... going to Jamaica in 3 weeks.... not nervous at all bout the airport now... they just have a way of making u feel like there is something wrong with u.. ugh so annoying...

You need to use his application number (starts with a F) and enter his information. Under your login info you will only see decision made. thats for sponsorship approval and that his application was received. This may be updated if they choose to do so. Some people never see anything updated besides Medicals received and decision made on his side once the passport is requested.
