Good morning everyone......I really have a feeling we are going to hear something good in here today......it is seldom we hear anything on a Thursday so here's hoping that my feeling is right!
We got a few people waiting for passports back:Sakia, KerolsGirl, Samll1, waitingonforever, tamarindball....praying you get this back soon!
2012 -1st half people......what is up with our applications? Maddants, Daddysgirl, ChildofGod, Nevaeha, mismine, jamaicafellinlovewithcan, dlmo? Something has to happen for us soon people.......they can't keep us away from our spouses forever.....this will end soon!
To the rest of everyone waiting.......not leaving you all out.......come on Kingston, get their spouses home to them too! How about we just clear up our entire spreadsheet today...PPR for everyone! LOL ohhh what but can I dream big eh!

Have a great Thursday everyone....we are having our annual company BBQ at work today, looking forward to eating to much! Potluck is so much fun!

Hey everyone its being a while now since my last post just saying hi to everyone, like most of us i still haven,t heard a word but still keeping the faith.

Its stated in all things we should give thanks, good things happen give things, things not working give thanks, the more praises go up the more blessings comes down. Maybe the lord is using the time to the for us know that when we are near to each other we should be thankful and not let little things get in our way, we know the meaning of being away from each other so when we are near don't spoil it and when we are far give thanks as long as there is life there is HOPE.

We have responded to your recent enquiry. You will not be able to make an appointment for an update on your file.The Immigration Section has provided a means for status enquiries through email contact, as such status enquiries/updates are not accomodated through appointments.

Please be advised that the status of your application has not changed since our last reply to you. Our office cannot provide you with an update of your case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured we will contact you when your file has reached the next processing stage. In order to serve all clients better, we will be unable to answer further correspondence at this time.

To apply for visitor visa applications are now being accepted by Visa Application Centres open at the following locations Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 p.m; Lee Gore Business Centre, 31 Upper Waterloo Road, Kingston 10 and DHL Office, 14 Sunset Boulevard, Montego Bay, St. James.

here is a question, your supposed to report whatever changes with you birth of a child,visa to another country or if you have traveled since applied; yet when you do again you hear this might make your process take longer,SIGH, how do you win in this process?

if you get a travel visa to another country are you to report the visa by email or send a copy of the actual visa to the embassy?

Chickie it seem all of us first half of 2012 applied at the wrong time? wonder if we all went to the same immigration officer sure wish one of us would hear something!! my husband went into the embassy in Kingston to submit some more paperwork and the lady at the desk said his application is there with all documents attached and thats it (sigh)

No that was from last month. I send a email and usually 3 weeks later I get one back so I get a email once a month in the last 3 months nothing has changed.

I think that would only apply for the principal applicant not for the spouse. We as spouses do send down any information on our trips to JA to show that our relationship is real but I don't think as a sponsor we have to show if we go to a different country. Also that might be for visa-exempt countries which JA is not.

yeah i have heard that they won't tell you anything if you just walk in to the office either. It is sad really that we can't get updates and ECAS is never consistent.
