Good morning everyone! Thanks for the info much appreciated, I will email Kingston today and pray for a response! I've been on this forum for a while but I've been quiet just usually read what's going on. It's nice to Kingston is working, and happy for those who have heard. Each and everyone of u is in my prayers that very soon we will all hear the news we need to from Kingston.

Just saying.......the article from the globe was dated april 5th and we know that people on here have been getting PPRs and Visa's returned still so this isn't going to affect us at all.......our Kingston workers are the best and they will still be working......don't lose faith anyone!

Yes, the original post was in April but if you go to the most recent posts on the thread there is updated information from the National Post dated yesterday. And again today, on the way to work, I read about the 400 workers that have already walked off the job. Kingston is not one of the visa offices listed at this time. Fingers crossed...

I just want everyone to be aware of what is happening and pray it doesn't affect us.

Its the foreign officers mostly in European countries that will strike as Stephen Harper will be in Europe; so they want the strike to be more effective in those countries.

I am liking Friday for one reason.......I GET TO SLEEP IN FOR 2 DAYS! woohoo......this weather and back up at work have got me sooo drained.....i just wanna sleep through the entire weekend......

Oneandonly......did your hubby tell you that he met with my hubby finally? They sat on the side of the road chatting like girls the other day LMAO I am glad they each have someone to talk to about this process though......it must help them like this forum helps us.

Morning everyone, Yolo i am so excited for you, your hubby will be here today right? You must be beside yourself. Dont forget to tell us your landing story?

Well finally, finally yesterday eve late they called him to say he is to come pick it up. But they were close to closing and he could not get there before they close and they are not opened on a saturday(cho :). So he will have it in his hands on Monday morning. Our plan is for me to go down for a couple days and we return together, but Lawd the tickets expensive, $1,000, i will look at flying throught the states to go down, i have been searching. Will keep you guys posted.

Chickie72 update us please, that was 24 months and 5 days dont wish that for anyone else, KINGSTON, please dont make anyone else wait that long.

Ladies and Gents, hold on, ours was long, my patience ran real thin at times with the process but at the end i will have my hubby with me. And that is all that matters now.
