Yyyyyeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!! Just got a call from tara; saying they have a package for me from the Canadian high commission!!!! They say I can pick it up tomorrow!!!!!! I am finally getting my passport back!!!!!!!!!

CIC states Stage 2 processing starts when the application gets to the visa office abroad. I say I've been waiting for my husband my whole life which means we are well beyond the 19 month mark...

Thanks for clarifiying that @Nevaeha, I wondered what start date they used to calculate the second stage. I feel the same way about my husband ; however, we have just started this process so I send my sympathies and prayers to you and all of the others waiting for so long.

Congratulations to ms fustrated b everyone else and ofcourse my happy morhers day to all mothers cum on kin ppl are still waiting my hubby has decided to spend a lil time before coming with family so agreed but he has his shiney visa in his passport ) will definately update when he has landed caz ofcourse will have my landing story god bless u all at nev dont watch dat processing time theres still hope kin is probably jus slow as ARC processing i believe maddants any update?

Great news indeed chickie. This long stressful wait is over; can you imagine waiting 19 months for this whole process to be completed? I sure hope none of my fellow forum members will not have to wait that long.
