yes it a very long process indeed but at the end of the day im going to get to my wife so we can start our our journey of love..lol..i sure do hope that they let me know the same day if i get the visa or not. what im going to do though is make sure i go and redo my medical and police record before the interview so i can bring those to the interview with me....I dont want them telling me that i will have to go and get them done first before i can get the visa.so once i show them that i have done that they should just take my passport from me before i walk out of the embassy.

Hi Maddants and congratulations on getting some movement on your file. One of our POS folks (Millslu) has an interview this week on May 8th I believe, you may already know that, as I know some of you folks visit our thread as well. I was reading about interviews on this forum (as well as the broader internet) and I have read that very often people do get told in their actual interview if they are approved or not right after the interview. So if they do not tell you explicitly, just ask them this question when you are done. No harm in asking right ?

Great idea about getting your police record re-done; however, for the medicals I think the new process is that the VO themsleves can apply for a medical extension directly (at no cost to you and causes fewer delays) if that is the only outstanding thing on your file. Something else to consider or maybe ask the day of. Also a great idea to have your passport with you. Claim it!!! Prayers and blessings coming your way.

thank you my friend...i will soon be in canada with my wife...God will work out everything for me... It been a long road for me so far but im still hanging in there until this is all said and done.
