as for the ohip(health card) its saying that he need 3 pieces of i.d including.... does anyone know what kinds of proof of i.d also says that you have to wait 3 months .... can anyone confirm if this is true and what kind of i.d we will have to bring in for them to get their health cards?

Hey Ready....he needs to be here for 3 months before he will be covered...however you can go to Service Ontario and apply for it and they will send when ready. You can also call and verify with them. When I moved back from Nova Scotia to Ontario I had to wait for 3 months even though I had an Ontario Health Card before.

With the blink of an eye it will soon all be over for us in the race
I was reading on the cic website where it says that processing is dependent on the amount of apps received for that particular time but i have a question i submitted medical as well as police check with my hubbys app who updates that meds r received is it kingston or missisauga

I have seen differing opinions on this; however, I believe (from the majority of what I've read) that it is Missisagua that does the update.

It doesn't take much to make me feel hopeful/excited:

I just checked my e-cas and my husband's address has always shown as mine because we completed the representative form. However, there was a 'c/o my name' line added to the address line today. I hope this means progress...I'll grasp at whatever I can!!!!! ;D

As a side note: I sent an email to Kingston late on Dec 31 and I haven't heard anything but I think it's interesting that something (even if it's something small!) was added to e-cas.

Tracking number for? Only when you send things via DHL or other courier services do you get a tracking number. Only numbers Immigration gives you are file, application or UCI #s.
