Ok so I went thru the application process again and it looks like things have changed. It only says that you have to bring:
Please bring the following to your appointment:
 Proper identification (proof of identity must include at least one document with photograph and signature such as a passport, driver's licence or national identity card)
 Eye glasses or contact lenses, if worn
 Any medical reports or test results that you may have as a result of previous or existing medical conditions
 Four recent photos
I would get your hubby just to verify this when he calls for his appointment. On the link you posted it says the doctor will provide the form.

lol the first time i went to JA the officer at the airport asked me since I was married to a Jamaican why didn't I apply for my Jamaican citizenship.....my hubby laughed when I told him that, he said look how fast they are to give you citizenship but your country puts me thru all this. It is true tho, but I understand why Canada does it at the same time.

2013 is going to be a great year!!!! This is the year our spouses will be arriving in Canada!!!! Woo Hoo!

Chickie - it's okay to have a pity party and I'm glad that you are back to your positive outlook! I sent an email to Kingston yesterday asking them if they wanted me to send them additional proof of our relationship since we applied. I also asked them if they would like us to re-do the medical and police check since they are about to expire. I'm pretty sure that I'll get the standard 'don't call us, we'll call you' email but I NEED/WANT to hear SOMETHING/ANYTHING!!!!!! I've been patiently waiting since March and I'd like to know that the application is at least in process!!!!!

Yep for sure, this is a whole new year and we need to show them that we aren't backing down and just waiting.....we want our hubbys, I still like Anada's idea of us all stalking out the immigration building in JA with signs and everything LOL

He'll receive the form from the doctor the same day he goes for his medical. The police check can vary - if he pays more $, he can get it faster, within a week or two if I remember correctly. Good luck!

OK GREAT THATS PERFECT I WAS THINKING THE MEDICALS TAKES A FEW WEEKS FOR RESULTS TO COME BACK...THATS EVEN BETTER I CAN FILE SOONER..IM JUST ANXIOUS TO FILE SO I CAN ACTUALLY GO SEE HIM

When my hubby called Dr Gomez he was able to get an appointment the next week and as per the above post, the Dr will give him those forms the same day.

The actual results you won't ever see......they will get sent to CIC Mississauga thru other channels, you just get a paper stating they were done.

So glad Kingston is back to work tomorrow, just means we are all one step closer!!

**TIP**--when you redo medicals, you can call CIC-Missssauga to ask them if they have received the results and what date they were sent to Kingston. I spoke with them before the holidays. It took 2 1/2 weeks for results to go from JAMAICA>>TRINIDAD>>CANADA>>KINGSTON. When you get this info. from CIC-Miss email kingston and tell them that CIC Mississauga said they forwarded medical results to their office on 'xyz date' and you want to confirm that they received them--they will respond to confirm!
