Wonder if there's only certain days where visas are issues?? Tomorrow makes one week they have hubby's passport. Can't wait for the day where I can stop stalking the tracking of things lol

I have been telling everyone that he will be here by Dec 15, but if he gets that visa by Friday, lol he is out of there Saturday lol

I really do he makes it here for xmas...especially the new year, have heard of cases where after PPR some wait a month, maybe even 2 before pp return.

Oh i prayou you don't have to wait that long....I really believe they will try to get it out so he can be home by Christmas. Christmas has the effect of making people nicer then usual lol

She recieved her package late at the post office because she lives in deep rural Ja and she wasn't aware to check the PO for a package. They requested police record and passport. However the deadline has passed to submit these docs. Can someone please tell me what this will mean 4 her? She has done the police record and is set to pick it up on Friday. Thanks in advance. I'm really worried 4 her.

tell your niece to submit requested documents ASAP with a cover letter explaining why they are late and stating that she is still interested in PR in Canada....

She should write a letter explaining the circumstance. Have her drop the letter, along the PC and passport at the visa office as soon as possible. They are understanding with delays in the mailing system in Ja.

I believe so.... is she applying through family sponorship? if so then yes she is at the end...

if she is applying through skilled worker than it may not yet at the finish point... I am not sure about that process entirely...

If a favorable decision has been made (which it sounds to be) then yes, this would to be the final stretch before visa issuance.

Tell her not to worry. My sisters and I had the same situation when we were being sponsored by our father. A letter of explanation and the required documents will do. It will be over in no time.

If she meet's all criterias as an eligible dependant under family class and all background checks have been completed, then she will be united with her Daddy shortly.
