The application was submitted on October 12 and it was received on the 15 (medical was done in February or march cant remember been so long sigh) but my sponsor(father) haven't receive a decision from cic. Call them myself in this week and they gave me the client ID but they say a decision is still yet to be made so now i am fretting on why they taking so long

Hey there jamaicafellinlovewithcad......you dont have anything to worry about...once they gave you the case number you are good to go.if there was any problem when you call them they would of let you know or you would of got back your application telling you what is wrong with it....so welcome to the long waiting process like everyone else and do enjoy the long movie.....lol

I heard it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks....in which case he will either be here Dec 15, or Dec 29 ? before Christmas would be nice though.

Does Kingston call anytime during the day, or is it usually early mornings????

It seems some people are receiving calls at any time during the day - morning or afternoon. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. At least if you don't get the call in the morning you have all day to look forward to an afternoon call!
