So it look like if your ecas dont change from application recieve to in process......... that means your application is just sitting on some desk or in a box in the embassy until some immigration officer open it up and start to look it ova....

No it doesn't mean that Maddants. Updates on eCas are not consistent and can bypass "in process" and right to "decision made".

Your application is opened fairly quickly and goes to preliminary review. Once they're satisfied with your relationship meeting the criterias of a "bona fide" relationship, it moves onto next stage where it "could" sit until results come in for background checks.

I LUV those words "the end is near!"

I sometimes think about what I will do when my time comes .... I know for sure that I probably wont be able to eat or sleep. So I can only imagine how you feel now!!!

I am excited for you and everyone else who has heard from Kingston. I was worried that they were already on Christmas holidays!!!!!

I got my approval at the end of June i think it was the 28th or 29th
would have to check my email to be exact.

I emailed Kingston about my husband’s Prints because the RCMP said they sent it and my husband has still not received a call. I got a reply from them in 2 days (that must be a world record for Kingston). I asked them to confirm they received it and when will further work be done on my husband’s file. This was their response. What the hell do they mean by “once we are ready to move the file to the next stage of processing” ?

Dear Madam

Thank you for your email.

The RCMP Fingerprint Checks have been completed and received by this office. The application is back in our review queue. Mr XXXXXXXX will be contacted directly once we are ready to move the file to the next stage of processing.

It appears that your file is awaiting review. Once they've completed their due diligence (background, security, etc.), it will move onto the final stage at which time a decision would be made on your application aka PPR request.
