Ok, the only thing I have figured out to do it quote on someone else's post, how do I change my profile, like I see everyone has the info of their applications and such. How do I do that?

You don't always have to quote someone just to post. But we do use "quote" often. You can scroll past the last post and hit reply to post without using quote
