Good mawnin fam! Today is the "Twenty-sixth" hoping that somebody's prediction comes true today ;)!!

Saw this on yahoo news this morning....

"MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Some newlyweds now face a new rule the government says is designed to combat marriage fraud.

Thoughts? ? ? ?

I get where they are coming from with this, but sometimes even "legitimate" relationships can go sour within two 2 years. I think it really should be up to the individuals to know what they are getting themselves into and to dictate whether or not they believe the other partner is being sincere.

Hey there, I just checked my ECAS and it is now saying medicals received. Does that mean Kingston has my file now?

I have decided to try and send away for the GCMS notes. Why not? I have several questions and was wondering if anyone else has sent for the notes. As usual the government forms are unclear....Form IMM 5563

1. When we applied we sent in the form that confirms I am his representative and therefore any documentation is sent to me first. Do I need to attach anything to the request as they should have the documentation on file?
2. In section B; it asks for a File number. Is the the UCI or the application # which starts with an "F"?
3. In Section C; it asks for an "Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) number. What is that??
4. At the bottom it requests a signature but further down it says you can email your request to them. Do you print it off, sign it, then scan and send it?

Filling out forms is never an easy venture so I appreciate any help anyone can give me.
:) :)

I am pretty sure that is what it means as the medicals are sent directly to Kingston.

1. You still need to complete the consent form IMM5476, that goes with the GCMS notes request. Your spouse has to sign it and send it back to you. Faxed or scanned and emailed copies are acceptable.
2. The F number.
3. You don't need it, you are not an ICCRC rep nor did you use one.
4. Print, sign, scan and send.

Ok I have a question.....when my hubby went for his medical Dr Gomez told him that Canada receives the medicals....so who changes your ECAS, Canada or Kingston to show that your medicals are received? Does Canada wait for your medical, change your ECAS and then send your paper file to Kingston?
