Good Morning forum...So it took me 20 mins to catch up and read up...and I have a couple thoughts, and anyone who knows how I am, I dont bother sugar coating nothing...
1) There is wayyyy TMI going on in here with the sex talks..

2) Everyone who has just filed and over stressing about the long haul, you may be so happy and pleasantly surprised if your get through fast fast (which is what I am hoping for everyone still in process) As I have said before you cannot stress over things you have no control over, it's self destructive, but at the same time I know this is easier said than done.
3) As a mom with 4 kids, my advice to you @ Ananda, I would carefully think about leaving the country for a long period of time or permanantly with the children without a court order in place. You just never know what could happen it's better to have something in place. Even though you can leave the country with a letter from the father, you cannot do these things without proper preparation. You will lose ctc, and ohip...100% guaranteed. That is with or without the court order. Coming back in you will have to wait 3 months until you can recover your ohip as well. I have also seen the canadian government order some ppl to return the kids to Canada. This is something I have witnessed first hand in Jamaica. I found going down for 3 months in the summer with my kids, was a much easier way to live with passing the time. Also you need to factor in cost of living. In Jamaica when I am there with the kids it is very very expensive. I am not sure your financial situation, but my husband had a good mechanic job at a big dealership down there, plus I got my CTC etc, but everything for the kids is triple the amount of money with 3/4 less quantity. And when I go I send 2 barrels, just for my own purpose, 1 food, 1 with washing soap etc. And that runs out quick quick. Foreign kids are not used to having to make due with likkle. But then again if you guys are better off money wise then I dont know. But your journey through immigration may be quick, so have a little faith.
4) I come up for air long time, I pop in say hi, but no one ever answers, LOL so mi jus bill back yuhzeet! Hubby doing fine, he's working at a garage now, and things are just as they should be. Very Very NORMAL.
