Jamgirl, my processing stretched to 9 months at KG (the first 3 months was getting approval from CPC-M) before I got the meds re-do request. Two things I do know contributed to my processing time: (1) my background check would take awhile, because I have changed addresses every two years on average since I was 18. Yep, I move around a lot. (2) I have a lot of travel history outside of Jamaica.

At first I thought it was our relationship they doubted, and that we should gear up for an interview. When I ordered my GCMS notes after we passed the 6 months' mark, to get an idea of what was going on, I was surprised to see the notes contained nothing remarkable about our relationship. It documented when we met, how we met and that we married not long after meeting, BUT it noted that we submitted "numerous" supporting letters and photographs with various family members and that was all.

I really think you should order your GCMS notes, at the very least you will be able to see what the initial assessment said regarding your application.

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I started to think now is the time I think I would like to order those notes. It may ease my mind as to the question if my file is getting outside interference or not. I am however waiting until I hear back from the MP's. Hopefully that will be this week. Not sure if you guys remember my post about the information I received from my local MP 2 weeks ago, but I will remind you... 1. I was told that if the MP inquires about my file, they will not be able to do so again for another 6 months. and 2. once they take my file from queue to make the inquiry, my file goes back to the bottom of the pile. Well I questioned that as soon as I heard it, and then posted it here where many of you had either experienced differences in those facts or had friends that did. Funny thing, it has been 10 days since my MP "inquired" for me... so I called Minister Kenney's office today. They are doing their own inquiry and informed me that both 1 and 2 are something that they have never heard of before lol. Shocker, right!

So I have emailed hubby the form to sign, and he will fax it back to me in the next couple days so that it is ready to send off depending on the news that I get from the MP. I just wasn't sure before if I wanted to order them just yet. I know if you order them too soon then they may not have a lot of information on them but I can't stress anymore. It is time.

Thank you JamGirl! I noted 1111 too! I'm into repetitive numbers especially on digital clocks, Guess I take it as a sign when I'm lucky enough to see it. Charlie can you enlighten me onthe goods to follow form? Also is there a form for items accompanying?

It notes the forms you need and how you can send the request. Please note, your husband has to sign the consent form allowing you to request them on his behalf (since what you are querying will be his file at the visa office).

WOW!!!!! What are the chances that we get our caips notes 10 minutes to midnight as I'm about to go to bed!!!!
35 pages....it all seems good according to the caips 'help' page....the notes at the end have a question but it's nothing serious. Just got off the phone with hubby...we still both feel good about it....although I'm gonna take a OTC sleeping pill, cuz I knoooooow I won't fall asleep now!

hey fam

i have a question, so my hubby sent the additional documents yesterday and airpak said that the embassy would receive the docs the same day.

ecas changed to inprocess on feb 28th but it included the same details as before, but today when i checked ecas it has another line that says that they started processing our application feb 23.

do you think that my change in ecas may have any meaning

Well hubby just drop of his PP at DHL. They say it will be sent to KG later this morning and I made sure he got a tracking #. Well all we do now is just wait 4 the PP and visa to come back. This forum has given me so much knowledge and understand of this sponsorship process and for that I am very thankful!
