Thanks for the info Charlie, and I believe there was another reply as well from Mrs lswn...thank you both!! He is a good guy...hard working..loved his wife like crazy. So he won't be looking financial support from her...he has a good job, and he won't be looking another woman/ let alone wife any time soon. Gonna take him some time to get over this..he was in this one for life!! He just wants to know what his situation is so he can proceed you know...so I will pass this on to him!! Basha!! Woohoo, it is your turn!! KG, you are the..umm..people!! Such a fantastic thing to come home and read! You get that man to send those documents ASAP, he must be home in time for your shower! One update post coming right up!!

Jamgirl, my processing stretched to 9 months at KG (the first 3 months was getting approval from CPC-M) before I got the meds re-do request. Two things I do know contributed to my processing time: (1) my background check would take awhile, because I have changed addresses every two years on average since I was 18. Yep, I move around a lot. (2) I have a lot of travel history outside of Jamaica.

At first I thought it was our relationship they doubted, and that we should gear up for an interview. When I ordered my GCMS notes after we passed the 6 months' mark, to get an idea of what was going on, I was surprised to see the notes contained nothing remarkable about our relationship. It documented when we met, how we met and that we married not long after meeting, BUT it noted that we submitted "numerous" supporting letters and photographs with various family members and that was all.

I really think you should order your GCMS notes, at the very least you will be able to see what the initial assessment said regarding your application.

Icesfluffy, it costs $5.00 to order GCMS notes if you do it yourself. There are companies that can do it for you, the one I know of charges $40.00, if memory serves me right. I suggest you do it yourself if you decide to, it really doesn't make a difference as either way you have to wait 30 days for them.
