well it said april 26th 2012 we havent got a letter as of yet it was on the web site
so will he get a letter or a call telling him what time his interview is?? i have kept all my tickets to jamaica and have soo many pictures i am sending to him for his interview what more do we need to have???

Has anyone have this experience when tracking their package on DHL's website, it says "No result found for your DHL query.." Does this means Kingston still has his passport?

Well still no update for me. A so it go. I have this week off and am gonna do some nesting JUST IN CASE hubby get that call, lol. Stay Positive people!!

Yup, our meds are valid until October, so I told my hubs expect a call whenever. But I told him it could be awhile yet not sure. Thx for all who congrats'd me lol yu guys more thrill than bredrin (my husband) LOL

Neika, it is possible to get an interview request at any point until a visa is issued. It is unusual for KG to go to In Process and then request an interview, though.

LWU, you have enough time before the interview to order your GCMS notes, get on it now! You will benefit from having the notes during your preparations with hubby for him to succeed. And, yes, he should get a letter specifically outlining any documents they may wish him to bring to the appointment.

Sassyoneil, Bling, can't wait to mark you guys off the list! Sassy, yes, if there is no information on the DHL airwaybill, it means they have not collected it from KG yet.

Amandawood, sammy, counting down the days, are you guys packed yet?! Sammy, a little sunshine and a Red Stripe and the mister will set you up fine, don't you worry!

Good evening all. I am new to this and was on another thread and jamgirl told me I should add my self to this one also. I sent in my family sponsorship on feb 27th (mailed) to Mississauga a friend who went through this already told me to send it in even though I didn't have all the pieces. I am missing the medicals for both him and his daughter her passport and birth cert police checks and letter from daughters mom. My friend told me his got sent in without medicals and Kingston called him and told him when and where to go for the medical. I am just hoping and praying that everything goes through ok, I am lost without my husband. For 2 1/2 years we have always been together except for when I go to work and separation anxiety is killing me. 38 days until I go to ja to see him!

Hey chickie72, welcome to the KG thread, do stick and stay as we go through this journey together!

Hmm, I am not sure how your application will fare without these pieces of information, because technically a family class application is NOT complete without them. If your friend was a skilled worker or was a dependent on someone else's application, that may be why they were told when to go for their medical. In the case of sponsoring a spouse and dependent child, you are supposed to submit them upfront. Anyways, the worst that will happen is they will return your application and ask that you submit the missing pieces. However, they MAY choose to pass it on to KG and have you send them in directly, but in your shoes I would gear up to get back the application to complete it.

So, in the meanwhile, have your husband go and get his police certificate done, have him copy his daughter's PP and BC, and he needs to get the medicals done for both of them, at one of the doctors listed here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2056&CountryName=Jamaica

Thanks for the answer. I am going to call the call center tomorrow and see what they say about it. I will update sometime tomorrow and let u know what they say. When I go down in April will pick up her pp and bc. At least I should have a client #by then so when I do send everything in it won't get lost in the shuffle. I am glad for this forum I don't feel so alone anymore :-*

when going to the place to get the GCMS notes it saying i have to have concent how am i going to get that ?? or do i even need that?? im very confused??? please help im stressing soo bad that i have head aches i want the to go smooth for my hubby , i got a email from my mp with a website to check out about the guidelines they have to fallow and she pointed out something about marriage of convenience and so i feel this is what they are trying to say our marriage is so thats why im streesing can someone please please please help me!!!

LWU - Your husband needs to sign the consent form allowing them to release the information on the file to you. You have to request it as it can only be sent to someone in Canada. Email him the link to the form, have him fill it out and sign it, get it scanned and emailed back to you. Then you can print it off and use it. That is perfectly acceptable, it doesn't have to be the original form.

As I said, in KG most of the times an interview is concerning the genuineness of the relationship. Other spouses here have successfully faced interviews, so you guys can too, have no doubts about that.
