LWU - When is the interview, does your update say? An interview, in general, means that the IO has questions or concerns regarding your relationship, or sometimes the documentation submitted in support of your application. With KG, it is usually the genuineness of the relationship that concerns them. So, between now and the interview date, it is important for you and hubby to prepare for the defense of your relationship. Even though there won't be any lawyers present, remember this is a legal proceeding, whatever decision the IO makes has to be based on the application of the laws (IRPA and IRPR), so take it that seriously and go in there prepared!
If you have more than 30 days to the interview date, order your GCMS notes. These notes will tell you what the officer is querying, and possibly why. If you have less than 30 days, read the convocation (interview request) letter carefully. Bring EVERYTHING that is asked of you to bring. Also, I hope you kept a copy of your application, because you both need to review the information in it so that hubby is familiar with everything.
At this stage, don't re-do the medicals. If they want him to re-do, they will either send the request after the interview, or they will have it ready for him and give it to him after the interview.
